3h and 4h with 3i and 4i

Looking for feedback.

 

So I currently game a 21 3h and 24 4h. My iron set was originally 5-pw but I loved the 5 so much, I went looking for a 3 and 4. The 3 is 20 degrees and the 4 is 23. 

 

I know ball flight will be different with each and I have room in my bag for both. But am also thinking a 2h in place of both hybrids.

 

I just built the 3i and haven't hit it yet. Still looking for a 4, dammit.

 

So both hybrid and iron 3/4, or irons and 2h?

 

<edit> the 2i is only available in right hand, otherwise I would get that one, too.

I have no idea what your clubhead speed is, but test out a 2H before buying one. For most golfers, 3H is the dividing line for how much hybrid you can handle.

 

Also, for bridge clubs (between Driver and 5i) do you have any fairway woods, or are you all hybrid?

 

If you can find the 4i, a basket of 3H + 4H +3i +4i would give you some choices depending on what course you play. After a season of testing these out, you'll be able to figure out which mix helps most.

 

As of now, my bridge clubs are anchored in 4s: 4W, 4H and 4i (w/hybrid shaft so it's repurposed as driving iron). And, a handy 7W helps out.

I also carry a 3w and 5w. Those are mostly long second shots on a 5 that I don't plan on hitting the green with.

 

My 3h is about 180+ and have hit a few greens with it. The 4h is about 170 and my accuracy has also improved. My 5i is about 160 so my gaps are pretty good (shocked). 

 

I'm really interested to see how this 3i works out. I just bought the hybrids a few months back, so that is still kind of new. My old irons were 3-pw Zing 2's that I still love. I just decided I needed to refresh the bag last summer.

 

The 3h is a Nike CPR, the 4h is a VR Pro. My irons are Vapor Pro Combos and they are just amazing. The 2h I am trying is a VR Pro as well.

I've not used a launch monitor, but my 3bays sensor said my driver was 94mph with my current swing.
