Graphite Design shaft comparison to Diamana Whiteboard?

Need some help here, which of the GD Shafts is closer in profile and play like the Aldila Rogue Silver or UST Elements Chrome ? Had some success with this 2 but i'm really intrigued by GD. I have read and seen some posts and reviews and maybe the TP and XC are the closests to those but i'm not sure about that.

Thanks for your help.

@pingplayer: As you've probably already read, most of the GD lineup is closer to the blueboard profile, which profiles similarly to the Rogue White.

Based on the feedback in this post (I am the OP) and what I've read elsewhere:  TP, XC, GP and BB are your starting point, at least in comparison to the Rogue Silver.

I have a Rogue Silver, and also gamed Tour Green for a while.  I currently game either a Diamana 'ahina or DF, both in 6X.  I could easily go back to either of the Aldila shafts.

I picked up a TP in 6X, and found it close to my DF and not quite as stiff as my 'ahina.  Further inspection revealed that the TP was tipped 1.5" (meaning it might play closer to TX than X).  Neither the DF nor 'ahina were tipped.

I want to check out the XC and GP.  You probably want to do the same.  Hope this helps, and good luck!

The TP has a stiffer butt section than what OP is saying he’s looking for, also has a decent kick to it, you can feel it loading and unloading in the mid section of the shaft. TP is an all time favorite of mine and gamed the 6x in driver for a few years and still use a 7x in my 3 wood. The XC and the BB would fit more to the profile of softer butt section.

I'll try to find a GD XC and see how it goes from there, let's see if there is a 6X AD XC in the Classifieds soon. Thanks

Posting a followup to this thread, as I've added a GP and XC in the last 2 months.  'cuz I'm a ho.  🙂

I like the GP.  I can feel when it loads, but its pretty stable (especially the tip) and it launches higher than the 'ahina.  I get some baby draws with this club, but it usually holds its line.  Reminds me more of the DF though.

The XC, however, is a really close match to the 'ahina.   I can get set at the top, and rip through the ball, and the shaft doesn't budge. I'll be giving the XC some time in the bag this summer.

Appreciate all of the feedback from @noodle3872, @JungleJimbo, @Valtiel, @OspreyCI etc.

@hagimihale fyi as i was listening to @knudson81 (aka Club Junkie)'s podcast today, he was reviewing the VA "Baddazz" shaft (their foray into less-expensive shafts) ... he mentioned that its shaft profile = most-similar to the TourAD "XC" shaft (that you were eyeing / asking about previously)...

so thought you might be curious / might want to explore the Baddazz shaft
(and maybe pick the brain of @knudson81's encyclopedic knowledge!)

(the Baddazz discussion = circa the ~25min mark in the podcast)
