The length made the difference today.

 

Danielle isn't going to beat the Korda sisters unless she makes every putt like she did before today.

Wow, that was entertaining. I do think Danielle gift wrapped this one. Her sole bogie was costly, and she was a little tentative down the stretch. That said, Jessica was solid, and made her share of clutch putts. Forget how long Jessica can be when she's swinging freely. 

 

Great round by Nelly. I didn't think she'd give Jessica and Danielle much trouble, but she gave them a scare. Like Brooke, her short misses cost her a chance to join the playoff. 

 

Great week by Danielle. 73 holes with one bogie. Can't hang her head after this result. 

 

Fun week. Not a big fan of the celebrity aspect of the tournament, but the celebrity leaderboard was solid. Certainly less a distraction than Pebble Beach. Definitely liked the fact that they paired the pros in the final group.

Pretty exciting down the stretch, surprised DK didn’t get them to cut the music on 18 for her. Especially after she stopped 3 times on the green 2 holes before.

Congrats to Jessica. Down the stretch, you could make a case for either one. Danielle didn't exactly implode a la Lydia Ko at the Marathon. Awesome putt at the finish. Also, congrats to Jasmine for putting a ring on it on the 18th green. Kinda glad Jessica's bf didn't follow suit today.🤨

First it was the fan with the camera, and then the course worker drove away in the cart. Constant music isn't quite as distracting.

Yes, Hanhwa, a Korean conglomerate. (Not to be confused with Hana Bank). She's currently sporting a Q-Cells bag and visor. Q-Cells is a Hanwha brand.

Adverts, corporate cut-aways, the scoreboard, the celebrity scoreboard, Mardy Fish, interviews, more ads etc, and precious little golf.

 

In terms of showing players outside the final group, we had a bit of Lexi, some Cheyenne Knight, some Brooke (naturally), even some Angela Stanford - but none of the player who came fourth!

The music was unspeakable, horrible. It turned the tournament into some kind of cheap fairground or circus. All it needed were clowns and some elephants. What were they thinking? Please, please, never again on the LPGA.

I tuned into this to watch last night (UK based). The aspect of having the two Korda sisters in the final group trying to chase down Kang definitely intrigued me.

 

Sky Sports streamed the coverage live to their YouTube channel. Really exciting finish and glad that Jessica got the win. Following a 60 with a 66 is very impressive and she looked solid down the stretch. That said the coverage was all but unwatchable. I couldn’t have cared less about completely pointless celebrity coverage. Them grinding over 3 footers and holding up the Pro’s is an absolute shambles. Why they needed to be there on the final day when people are playing for their livelihoods was beyond me. It really detracted from what was a tense and exciting finish.

 

The music in itself didn’t bother me, that the music was terrible though did. Oh and I just cannot get with Par 3 finishing holes. The PGA Tour seemed to have learned its lesson by changing things at the Tour Championship, the LPGA should do the same.

Great putt by Jessica to close it out!  And I was glad to see her get the win after that terrific 60 on Saturday.  She certainly starts out her golf seasons well!

In Gee Chun is looking forward to the next tournament but she's happiest to go back to Korea for a while

They did manage to show In Gee's birdie putt on the final hole.
