Modern day Cleveland CG14 wedge?

So I picked up a 60* Cleveland CG14 Tour zip in mint condition for a song purely out of curiosity. Been messing around with it for a few weeks now and I can’t believe how good it is! It literally handles anything I throw at it. For whatever reason I skipped over this wedge when they first came out and I’m just now realizing that was a big mistake lol. The thing is, I can’t figure out what makes this wedge so good. Are there any modern day wedges that would compare directly to this wedge? Obviously they are slightly bigger in size than most wedges, but it doesn’t seem to be quite as big as something like say a Cleveland CBX wedge. Could anyone tell me exactly what grind is on the CG14? Really makes me wonder why Cleveland never brought an updated version of this wedge back to retail.

The cg12 and cg16 were some i owned and got a 588ta 56 right now and rtx2 60.Basically Clevo and Ping just built a wedge that worked in the Sand so higher bounce.Thats my guess so any/all of their wedges WORKED....its a bit like a Ping Anser..yes it will work,why wouldnt it ! All designed in a simpler time😊

Good luck! I did the same with a CG16 when I was hunting for a new 50* and came across it is a resale bin at the shop I go to. Swung it for s&g's and instant love in a club spot I had struggled in for so long. I got home, searched eBay, and bought the only 2 I could find to throw in the closet. The newer CBXs are not the same-I hit them, and what seems like every other OEM's offering when I was searching. The CG14 and CG16 are pretty similar with one being the other's successor, but I can't find a modern "pretty" club to replace it. Just flat out works.
