This will sound absolutely nuts , but watch his butt.  Lol. He’s clinched so tight he can crack a walnut.

I’ll take a pass on that. 🙂

Lol.  Fair enough.  I knew that would go over like a fresh poot in a deep sea diving suit.

Lol.  Dang.  Man.  I haven’t thought about that one in ages.   Eddie is still one of the all time best.  But Charlie Murphy doing Rick James stories. Now that takes it over the top!

He's 45

also lol @ Michael Schumacher returning to F1. The guy hasn't been seen in public in like eight years.

This might be why, per Wiki:

An ambassador for UNESCO, Schumacher has been involved in humanitarian projects and has donated tens of millions of dollars to charity. In December 2013, Schumacher suffered a severe brain injury in a skiing accident. He was placed in a medically induced coma until June 2014. He left hospital in Grenoble for further rehabilitation at the University Hospital of Lausanne, before being relocated to his home to receive medical treatment and rehabilitation privately in September 2014.

Tiger won't give up, but he should.  Otherwise when he's another 10-15 years older might be in a worse situation....I'd bail on competitive golf if I were him.

.....and fuel up "Privacy" for a tour of the seven seas.

I'd just like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading a Tiger thread that not only stayed on the rails, but went in a hilarious direction. 😆

Seems to me if he doesn't hang it up he will regret it later in life.  Move on and play golf with your son for fun when feeling good.  I just don't see how he can work at his game hard enough to make it work, it 's going to break down, and get worse.  He shouldn't have too many issues just playing a casual round now and again, but the sheer amount of practice and reps needed to play at a high level is just not going to work with a bad back.

There are a lot of things that made Tiger great, and #2 was that he outworked most everyone.  At some point his brain just can't make his body do what it wants without injury.

You have to ask what his real goals are now. Does he still think he is on a quest for 19 majors? Is it to just compete in majors?  I get that the competition is what he lives for, but he might need to find something else that works better for old guys.

Eventually, as you get older, you realize that your mind & body are not on the same page.  Your mind can be at 30 while your body is 60.

Everyone needs to care for their aging body:  Have realistic expectations & allow more time for things like healing.

Tiger is becoming familiar with this inevitable process.  His future depends on how he handles it.

This is what I was thinking as well. Tiger has talked a lot about reckoning with long term quality of life vs. competing at the level he wants and i'm sure there have been plenty of long term projection conversations with doctors about what the path forward looks like.

Yes, I realize that. That was the point.

My back doctor explained it well as we're trying to avoid surgery.  Once it's compromised, it's never the same.  You can function and have a normal life, but under pressure, eventually, it will get compromised further unless you take steps to protect it.  All that said, most people aren't swinging a driver 120 MPH.  Poor guy:  Eventually it's going to come back to quality of life if he goes at it the way he does.

100% agree.  I have 3 herniated discs in my back.  I'm trying to avoid back surgery as well as long as possible.  I know eventually I will need it done.  Went from stock swing 122 mph ss 12 years ago to now 119 mph swinging out of my shoes.  Of course doing that causes more damage.  It's a lose/lose proposition.  Same thing for my left knee since I do the Tiger/Rory squat on the down swing.
