Second Course at Palmetto Bluff Golf Club

Hey there - I didn’t see anything about it, so figured I’d start a thread, but when I was at Palmetto Bluff in October, my caddie mentioned they were looking to build a second course on property to complement the Jack Nicklaus designed May River course. Was told they brought in some big names to discuss the project, including Coore and Crenshaw, Doak and Hanse. While I enjoyed the May River course, would be awesome if they brought in someone else to do the other one. I believe my caddie said the new one might be strictly for members, but who knows. 
 

does anyone have any more information on the project? I’ll be back at PB in March and will try to get an update.

I'm a local and had heard about the possibility of a second course going in at PB but I haven't heard who they've picked as the designer.  I'll ask our Head Pro and see if he has heard anything.
The Nicklaus course is one of the nicest tracks in the area and has become very popular.  I wouldn't doubt if they made the new course strictly for members.

will be interesting to see if it is strictly private. my understanding is that May River at one time was private as well?
