Long Golf Shorts (12 inch Inseam)

I'm about 6 foot 3 and 200 pounds.  I have a hard time finding golf shorts that are long enough for me.  I like them just above the knee.  Anyone know of any with a preferably 12 inch inseam?  I used to get Oakley Take 2.5, but can't find them anymore and am in need of shorts again.

Been there done that.  A lot of shorts won't list their inseam and want to see if anyone else has any recommendations for long shorts.

I'm pretty sure DXL has a golf section on their website and they carry some name brands (Adidas, Callaway, etc...).

Standard inseams are usually 10.5" or 11". There is definitely some stuff on UA, Adidas or Nike that would have those inseams. Not sure if thats long enough for you

Lululemon has an 11" inseamed short. I'm not sure if anyone does a 12". 

 

I'd try checking some of the more conservative brands like a peter millar or footjoy. Most of the trendier attempting companies are going toward shorter inseams. 

 

I was watching a college bball game the other day and it looked like a late 80s early 90s game. When I was a kid I swore I would never wear what I then considered short shorts, but now it seems like they're heading that way.

Ha. I am the exact opposite with these shorts that are current for the last ten years or so. 

Absolutely can't touch the knees or rub them when walking, one inch above suits me and looks right. That's usually an 8 inch, sometimes 9, inseam which are hard to find. I'm nearly 6' tall so not short but rather shortish legs comparatively . Many trips to the seamstress. 

My teenage son has longish legs so finding the right length for him is the opposite. Some lines offer two lengths and still too long for me but wish they would offer several different lengths.

 

Don't want the tennis shorts look from the 90s either as keeping from embarrassing situations was always a concern!😬

Try some Dept Stores and look for their Big/Tall section.  
They probably won't be golf brands, but if they have shorts in Big/Tall, the 
inseam should be longer and also the rise to crotch longer. 
 
You could also buy long pants and alter them or long pants you already have. 
That adds tailor costs, but you can get what you want.

I’d imagine pretty close to what you’re wanting and on sale - great price. I am 6’3 220 and these would fit the way your describing for sure.

Addidas.  I’m same height as you and they are too long for me. I don’t like long shorts.  So probably what you’re looking for.

I'm searching for the same right now. Almost nothing at 12". I used to buy the same Oakley's. They're gone. Closest thing I can find is "Adidas Ultimate 365 Shor" which is advertised as 11" inseam at Golf Headquarters. I'm 6'4" and 185lbs. I prefer 12" as well. I'm considering just buying the "Adidas Ultimate 365 3-Stripes Tapered Pant" (long pants) and taking them to a tailor to have them made into shorts!
