2021 Taylormade Wedges

Is there any news of new wedges from Taylor made for 2021? I need to get a new 60° but the inventory on their website is garbage. Wondering if just waiting on a restock or a new release.

Not sure about the MG line, but new Hi Toes are on the way apparently.

Grab yourself a big foot. For what a 60 is utilized for, it’s basically an Alien wedge if you remember those from the late 90’s

Yeah I’ve had my eye on grabbing the TW MG2 Wedges but at this point I’m going to wait to make sure they don’t change them for this year.

MG 2 is still in the lineup for 2021 and will not be seeing a change.

Nothing changing on the TWs for 2021.

Agreed. Even though Tiger does not use other lofts, it cant be that hard to put the 56* grind on a 54* and same with the 60* grind on a 58*.

I imagine not a lot of extra costs but opens up the market quite a bit, as more and more people seem to go to 54 - 58

If Callaway is out of the PM/Hi-Toe arena. I may have to look into bending the new Hi-Toe 62 to 64, and see if 14* of bounce can work.

So I've been trying to grab one (merely so I can duplicate the grind) and I can get them at a good price with the mil discount directly from TM.  It was showing mid Feb a few days ago to order /build one, now it shows May if I try to build one.

 

Sucked it up and found a used one for descent price.

I'd order the day they released them. But as someone playing 53* and 58* since like 2008 i'm not going to go 56/60 just to have TW grinds.

I've been looking at them too recently. The 56 shows a May ship date, and the 60 is early March. I had a couple clubs ship much earlier than their expected ship dates last year, so I'm hoping that's the case with these for everyone.

Yeah, the 60 was May as of the other day when I built about every combination possible, always showing the longest wait for the head.  If it's back to March again, seems the dates are really up in the air.

Decided to check just now for the fun of it...60 is 2/15 and the 56 is 3/8 now. Definitely changing by the day.

Looks like a zoomed in pic of Trottie's post, but also a "real" pic of the front of the wedge.

 

Also noticed the first custom options PDF Taylormade has on their site is gone. When Sim2 first launched, I searched for Hi-Toe information and it no longer had different grinds, but only mentioned Hi-Toe Raw as the new option. No mention of ATV (vs 4-way camber(.

 

It's been changed and now just lists the old Hi-Toe specs and grinds. So. it looks as if they changed it back and will probably change it again after launch. Was hoping to game it next month at Pebble but I guess not!

Agreed. I think this is going to be a very popular option giving 7 degree/LB option in the 58 and 60.

Exactly. The LB version in the previous model was hard to find and if I remember right, only in the 60.
