Is one better in the wind than the other?

I've played both and like both but I've noticed the TP5 get pushed around in the wind more than the Bridgestone 

that was just my observation I have to say it was 25/30 mph winds when I hit the TP5 it moved a lot on a shot that was hit with no side spin .

For me, the Tour B XS outperforms the TP5 in every way.

Opposite for me. The current version of TP5 performs at every part of the game. Short game feel and spin is best combo of any ball out there. Iron spin and launch is perfect. Driver, again the feel, spin and launch are superb. 

 

BXS is a very good ball. Just isnt the total package like the TP5.

I could play either ball, but I have more confidence with the BXS in the wind.  I've always felt Bridgestone balls handle wind better even going back to the Precept days.

The bxs has always been the superior wind ball.

I find current model Tour BX and BXS to be the most stable wind balls I've played.

 

Several time in crosswinds I have setup to allow the wind to push it back towards my target only to find my ball starting and staying on the line I aimed.  

 

BXS is legit wind fighter.

BXS has been great in the wind for me. TP5 is a good ball too but I would give the edge to the Bridgestone

Can't go wrong with either. It's all about preference. We are quite lucky to have so many good balls being produced.

Interesting to see Jason Day switch from TP5 TO BXS after he left his TM contract

I expect to play one of these balls this coming season. I experimented with the B XS last summer and was quite pleased. The last TP5 was very good off my wedges, but felt too firm off my irons. I am impatient for TM to release the new TP5 so I can try a sleeve of each head-to-head. I am surprised that TM has let Titleist and Srixon get a head start putting their 2021 versions on store shelves.

The Tour BXS is the best ball in the wind that I’ve played.  Does not balloon into the wind and holds its line in crosswinds.

Funny how one mans feel, perception; the way we hear the strike diffently - can be so different.

 

I love a soft ball (Cast iron user too) and thought the TP5 greenside generally was truly excellent.

 

I also 'felt' (sic) the mushy iron feel was about as soft and Blancmange like as my brain could handle..........

Both are good balls but I’ll defer to arguably the greatest player of all time who also happens to be meticulous about his gear (and is a TM club staffer)...

BXS for me.

Current models. BX and BXS are superior to the TP5 and X throughout the bag. Feel is relative so I won’t touch on that. 
I just wish the BX / BXS came in yellow again. 

That being said. I will be buying new TP5 and X in white and yellow to give them the full treatment.

Me too, their optic yellow is awesome. Didn't understand them dropping yellow on BX and BXS when all the other major manufacturers seem committed to offering yellow now.

If I’m not mistaken, they didn’t mention offering the ball in those finishes on the Asian market somewhere but don’t know if it was real.
