I really love Mizuno irons and my JPX900 driver, but after watching this video it sounds like Birdie Bob is still not a fan.

 

What is the issue here?  Face material, shape, MOI/CG specifications or technology altogether?

that fw is absolutely gorgeous.  looks to have an ever-so-slightly larger footprint and deeper face compared to last year's.

Is there an ST-X and ST-Z fw line or was that a typo?  All I can find info for is the Z.

Just one model in two lofts 3/15 degrees-adjustable from 13.5 to 17 and 5/18 degree adjustable from 16.5 to 20 degrees

Driver looks ace , looking forward to trying this one . Fairway wood is another jumbo monster , which I don’t like , but a lot of people seem to

TXG had this getting the same speed and carry distances as Matty's fitted TSi3. 

A few of the other tests have ball speed and carry right up there with the best of the bunch.

As mentioned above, this the ST-Z performed very well in the latest TXG test, as did all three drivers to be fair.

 

The Mizuno is $150 USD cheaper that the Tsi but to all intents and purposes matched its performance...

I look forward to replacing my ST190's in a couple of years when the ST-Z is down to $200.

Watched that last night.  Man was Matt locked in with his swing...ha

 

Was very impressed by all 3,  I have a ZX5 waiting for me in my office, just need to be able to get back to work to try that thing out.   There is a lot to like in the STZ as well.

I bought the outgoing adjustable head 3 wood deeply discounted on a whim. It’s stuck in USPS shipping purgatory and I’m thinking by the time it gets to me I will probably already picked up the new model from one of the big boxes.

I have the ST-190 and like it, but I have always felt it sits way open.  My miss is right and I have an issue with closing the clubface at impact. I have my set at 8.5 degrees and 1 degree up.  I am looking for a driver that sits more neutral or closed.  Does anyone know how these set up at address?

plus i think last years ST200X is still available and it is more draw biased than the STX

Can anyone post a right handed pic at address of the new 3 wood? The left handed pics are numerous already because of Matt at TXG.

Just ordered the 3 wood through my "rep."

 

Looks perfect for what I need it for.

 

Little bit larger head than others but I'll be using it about 95% off the tee.

 

Flattest lie of any 3 wood I could find so that helps eliminate the lefts for me.

 

Hopefully it comes in sometime this year!!  😒
