As Adam Scott found out, what works on the range hitting balls back to back does not necessarily mean the same results will be achieved on the course.  I suspect timing is much more important with this type of shaft and as a result consistency will suffer, hence the reason Scott has now resumed the use of the Ventus Red.

Lots of fun on the range though.

Looks like he went Ventus Red in the TSi2 now. Dude is all over the place. I love it!

Got my TSi4 last week. Had a couple of range sessions and one round with it.

This thing is massive! I hit a couple of tee shots that ended up 20 yards past where I typically am. However it certainly needs work on a directional front. I have a Ventus Black in there which I've played in the SIM for a while. Great shaft and feels 'compliant' to me in the SIM with that soft handle section. However with the soft handle when played in the TSi4 I feel like I don't have the same control. I'll throw a more butt stiff shaft in there and see how it works out, something like the HZRDUS RDX or Tensei Raw Orange.

But if you can match the shaft to this head I have no doubt it'll be one of the best drivers you'll ever hit.

Anymore feedback vs Sim2? This TSI4 is sounding very promising...

These where my numbers:

image.png.fd9dbdb82bfd49e716062198660317e6.png

As a note on this. I am a very high AoA player (+8* ish). I have the SIM2 set at 6* and the TSi4 was at 7.25*.

With lofts being equal I'd say that the TSi4 would be lower launching too.

I would also say the forgiveness is slightly better too. I hit a couple way out of the toe and still saw really good ball speed.

This is a very impressive driver.

Are you saying the forgiveness on the TSI4 is better for you then Sim2? Numbers looking good!

It's difficult to explain really.

With my current setup the SIM2 was certainly more accurate. Let's put it this way, if I hit a miss off the toe with the SIM2 it feels like crap but tends to be in play, with the TSi4 you can tell it's off the toe but it feels a lot better, however it'll miss by a greater margin. I've tended to play a Ventus black for a while which has a soft handle and I've liked that in the SIM however I think I'll need something with a stiff butt in the TSi4 just to give that stability and improve strike location. That and some practice.

I'm sure we've all done it, hit 10 balls with a driver and known it won't work. Certainly don't get that feeling with the TSi4 at the moment. I have a qualifier this weekend and the SIM2 may still be in the bag if I can't get the shaft dialed in this week.

Can't wait for mine to come in! Was testing SIM2 and was pretty set on it, but the fitter recommended TSi4 9° (set at 8.25°) with the TOUR AD XC-7. What a combo!

I've struggled with too much backspin for years, but this was in a nice window for me. Misses had enough spin to where they didn't dive out of the air (which is awesome) compared to my F7+.

The 118mph ss was a "stock" golf course swing and the 123mph ss was all I had. These were my last 2 swings before I told them to ring it up.

Ordered on 3/29 so I'm hoping for a pretty quick build time and shipment.

Was able to hit this at PGA Superstore finally, I'd really like to get it outside and with a shorter shaft because I was bit all over the place. It didn't feel super punishing but it was hard to get the launch consistent. When I caught one it was really good though. Still probably leaning TSi3, I think I prefer the look.

I just got fit for a new driver and tested the TSi4 and TSi3. I'd have to say that the TSi4 is much harder to hit and is not forgiving at all. I had one or two beautiful, powerful drives, right down the center 300+ yds with at least 15+ yds of roll. I'm not a super long hitter (280yds avg) so that was wild. Most other times, off line by like 40 yds for what its worth. TSi3 was not as long but a bit more forgiving. And for what its worth, I eventually went with the new Srixon ZX7 with a Tensei White 65 X--incredible driver...

No surprise there, the TSi4 isn't intended to be forgiving. Low spin and forgiving are mutually exclusive terms for the most part. Glad you like the Srixon.
