I wouldn't be too sure about this "green grass" thing either.  That may have been hot air also.

 

I bet you'll get a lot of blank stares from Callaway reps and golf pros if you ask them about a 50% trade-in bonus.  As in, if Callaway doesn't want to be bothered with the 50% bonus direct with their customers, why would Callaway expect the reps and pros to be bothered with it at their level.  But who knows--I guess we'll see.

I called today and flat out asked. They gave me the 50% bonus to buy a new driver. No questions asked. 
 

they also took some random single clubs I had too. Winnnnnning

They were Callaway’s, but just random single irons. An Apex MB and a random Apex 6i

99% sure these orders will be granted. The 20% was never taken down on the SIM2 (despite being taken down on Srixon Zx5/7 combo irons as someone noted) until the deal expired at the end of February. They also sent out an email advertising the 20%. Unless they were totally asleep at the wheel, it doesn't seem to have been a mistake. 

 

However, with how bad Taylormade component/shipping delays are it honestly isn't much of a deal when a bunch of demo trade backs should be coming back to the big box stores (that have some kind of playability guarantee) soon for slightly higher pricing and these can be had on the BST for a discount from full retail.

The only issue I had with Maple (which is why I went direct to Callaway for the 150%) was that their trade in value is 'condition and shaft dependent'. You get less of a trade in value if you have an L flex shaft vs S flex and/or your club is 'average' rather than 'very good'. I didnt want to ship my clubs to Maple for trade in - only to have them tell me after receiving them that I would be getting less trade-in.

 

When I trade into Callaway it doesnt matter what shaft/condition they always give 100% of their trade in price guaranteed. (and +50% for the deal obvi).

terms says so but I put in 3 clubs to trade in for one epic driver and it says I will get 150% for all 3.

I traded in an iron set, wedge, and some random irons. No issue. 
 

Got the bonus on all of it. Actually got more for the clubs than I originally paid...

I received a card in the mail yesterday from Callaway advertising a 50% trade-in bonus towards the new epic drivers and fairway woods. Unlike the website, this advertisement card said it ends 5/31 and has a coupon code of EPICBONUS. Just a heads up if anyone wants to use it. The card Callaway sent in the mail makes no mention of whether or not you can trade in multiple clubs, or a max credit like the website currently states. Other than the poster above me, has anyone had success trading in multiple clubs? If so, I'll definitely hop on this deal!

I got the same card in the mail. The website did accept the code and did allow me to place multiple clubs in the trade in window. However, where you enter the code “EPICBONUS’ there is a link to trade in details. I did not screen cap this but this is what the fine print said:

 

50% bonus only available on 1 club.  Maximum trade in value is $500. The website will not display the bonus (now paraphrasing) you have to trust Callaway will apply the bonus appropriately whenever they appraise the clubs.

This is how Callaway has been doing it lately.  They don't show you the 50% bonus, so you do have to have some faith.  Yet, with a couple of buys and trades for Epic line drivers, I have had no issues getting the full 50% bonus when trading in say 3 drivers for one driver purchase.  YMMV.

Yes. I got an email last week about it. You may have to call and ask if you didn’t get an email. It has a individual code. I’d give you mine, but I deleted it.
