Definitely gonna give one of these a try. I'm generally a standard Anser/Newport guy but something about this 2 ball with spider wings appeals to me.

Most guys had the white hot insert when I was looking at bags when I was marshalling.

Yeah. Heard the same story (in Europe), should arrive to the shops in a few weeks but not sure yet when they can actually hand them out.

I purchased one from PGASS when they had them out accidentally early. I did not like it. The shape and alignment was fine but the feel was hollow and plastic feeling. It went back and that's when they realized they shouldn't have even sold it to me and pulled the rest of them.

Would have been the perfect putter - with White Hot Pro insert. 
 

WHY is it so hard for Callaway to offer WHP insert in their new models, WHY? 🤬

 

They can offer different shafts, necks, color, aiming etc. on the same model, but they can’t offer the most obvious thing as an insert. 90% of the pros play this with the WHP insert, why is it so hard for Callaway to offer this to their customers as well? 
 

I’ve been asking this year after year, but still this makes me crazy, it’s so frustrating to never be able to get what you want 🤨

All they would have to do is make it a “custom option” and charge extra. That wouldn’t be hard to do since they are obviously making them for the tour.

If this thing performs as well on the course as it does on my indoor putting mat I don't care what insert it has. Easiest putter to line up I've ever had and that includes the Ping Ketsch. Sure, the bottom is ugly, that's another reason they make headcovers. The feel took a bit to get used to but I'm fine with it.

Grabbed a 2 ball Ten tour lined and was probably the best lagging putter I've ever used. Was garbage on the knee knockers where feel is needed, felt hollow and plasticky. I agree if it were maybe aluminum with a WHP insert it probably would have felt better. If you need a ton of help putting or are in a rut this is a good bet. I actually think the new stroke lab shaft would make a great training aid of some sort, I used it for 2 rounds and as switched over to a milled putter the next day and had the same smooth tempo I had with the 10.

So I went and rolled some putts with the various two-ball ten options at PGASS.  Is it just me, or do the balls on the ten seem smaller in diameter than the ones on the last several versions of the two-ball fang?

Have to agree on the feel. I had one briefly and your description is perfect, hollow and plasticky. Not close to my WHP 7. The Star insert feels much better in the Black series or original Ten.

I rolled one last week and overall the putter just felt cheap to me. Not suitable for a $299 price tag.

Ended up with the 2 Ball line S model, it's goofy looking but man does it work on those short putts

I have one with a WH insert and love it. Glad to hear they are making this combo with the Rahm model soon! Hopefully they will bring some to retail in lefty as well.

What are the odds that they will actually release the center shafted options in the 2ball Ten?  I know Johnny Wunder confirmed that the white hot insert in the 2ball ten will become available in the summer, so I wonder if the center shaft options will become available too.  Anyone have the inside scoop?

I'll try the WHP version. I rolled this again Tuesday in PGASS and just want to like it but it feels and sounds so platicky and hollow. If Odyssey could figure out some way to make tis club out of all metal and remove the plastic parts, I think it may be perfect. Hoping the WHP insert changes some things.
