Yeh supposedly there are a couple of LPGA players gaming it as well but I haven't seen any names yet. We'll see if Scott actually uses it in competition this week.

Well since the Tour has a no inside the ropes policy for media and this policy will continue at least thru March (most likely longer cuz of Covid), I don't see much "range footage"!

Look at it this way - Scotty is still using Titleist 680’s. No way that he is even testing something, let alone looking like he will put it in play this weekend, if it is not working.

 

If those numbers posted above are correct - 182mph ball speed, 11 degrees of launch and 2,200 rpm spin, then it looks like he has found himself an absolute beast especially now that he is into the 40’s club (how did that happen?!).

Given what I've heard  about this shaft (just the TXG videos), Scotty is probably a good candidate for it.  He's been playing a longer shaft for a little while now, and he has such a smooth transition and great tempo that he can control it.

Those seem to be pretty much average for him numbers wise. Does not really seem like much gain. This shaft just feel like snake oil sales to me.. No way it lives up to the hype.

Well considering there are Ventus like shafts coming out from everyone. Probably not long. But what does this shaft offer?? It is long and light.. It is nothing ground breaking.. The price tag is the hype..
