Remember, i95cw or any other club, you can have swing weight adjusted.  I went from 120, to 110, to 115 to current graphite at 92g-108g for stronger players.  They are made to work because they are swing weighted to D2.  For that reason, I don't notice the weight difference - yet I am benefiting from lighter weight shafts.

Gotcha.  Ill have to try and get to the shop and try ‘em out. From specs based on serial from ping the SW for the set is C7. Which i believe is pretty light. Immediately liked the feel of weight just not the firmness and effort i needed to really launch them. Shoulder and hip was killing me on ride home from range.  Got me thinking

Hmmm wonder if that will be to much... I am def. a regular shaft. I feel the S300 may be pretty stout. 

Any graphite comparisons to the Ping AWT 2.0... do have those in a set i enjoy

Absolutely can get SF 110cw in R (I have them in my S and G wedges 🙂 )

 

Ping has the best CS out there, I sent my BeCU to be reshafted when it snapped due to age (close to 30y old).  Little trip to AZ and it came back good as new.

Awesome news! @bvanlieu What did you put in the BeCu's? I could assume SF's but you know... How do you like the SF's in your SW/GW?

I didn't change shaft in the BeCu at the time: I was still gaming them believe it or not, so just wanted a replacement. Rest had original Micro-tapers. Its a serial matching 3-SW set, I also have a 2 and LW. I will never get rid of them but those steels are so old now you got me thinking of putting something like the SF's in it so they can go another 20+ years 🙂

 

I went graphite last year as I practice a lot and feel a bit of elbow tendonitis, and the wedges were the last to fall this year. I do use full swings frequently with my gap and 56d, definitely a ton of 3/4 swings. I kept S in the gap, R in the 56/60 as I wanted a bit more feel for pitch shots which I use the 56/60 often for. I did game an S in the 56 for a while, and it worked well enough but it did feel a bit dead on pitch shots. Perhaps it was in my head and it gave me reason to source a few Rs. 

 

My wedge game is un changed: I can stop 'em, hit them strait, and still pull shots approach shots equally well as with the steel.  Happier elbows.
