Inviting the buyer to the thread is still the best option. But yet it hasn't been done yet.

This is why it may be best to invite the WRX member in the thread. It could pressure them to handle in a timely manner being they have the money and the putter. I hope this works out for you OP but

I wouldn’t have refunded while in limbo like that, leaves you in this situation    ive had some close calls with Usps last two months with packages taking up to two weeks but luckily my buye

Oh no! There's quite varied and vehement opinions on that topic in various DND threads too. Consider yourself warned 😉

It's getting to be a nightmare selling and shipping these days.  It surprises me you had an issue with UPS and it's usually US Postal that is a train wreck. I hope

this person does the right thing and returns the club or pays you for it.   I would think UPS is not going to pay an insurance claim in an item they delivered.

I sold and shipped a set of Irons to a member on November 30th US Postal and they still haven't been delivered.  The member I sold them to has been awesome

and understanding because he has tracking and knows the situation with USPS and their problems.  I refunded his money 2 weeks ago and filed a claim and basically

wrote off the Irons.  This morning the member texts me a screen shot from USPS  tracking showing they finally made it to the distribution center in his town.  The Irons

are expected to be delivered this week and he will be making payment once he receives them.  Over 60 days for a USPS 2 day Priority mail shipment.

I hope this works out for you

That's flat out ridiculous , good that at least they will deliver.

As soon as I've filed  claims recently , the packages mysteriously show movement again. That claim process is a b* to go through.

I've had buyers get all bent out of shape for me choosing signature at delivery. In my cases , the mail person missed them and they had to go pick it up. Don't think this would bother me vs it getting "lost or stolen".

I never even thought of that...  It does appear that 1 week after I filed the claim the package suddenly moved from Chicago to St Louis distribution center which is the town the buyer

lives in.   Looks like they are thieves that got caught.  I sure hope they deliver the irons so I get paid and the buyer gets the irons.

Like I mentioned before, the UPS claim was cancelled when the package was found. So I was never paid any $ from UPS.
I was contacted by the buyer last week and informed that he had someone pick up the package from his residence. Buyer says he will ship the package back to me when he returns home.
Haven’t heard from him since and have not received any shipping information.
Buyer did say he’d be out of town for 2 weeks....

I did not. Even though I visit Golfwrx almost daily, I’m pretty new to posting on the forum. I didn’t even know you could invite people to a thread to be honest.
If I don’t hear back from the buyer by next Monday, I will invite him as suggested.

Thanks for the advice all, appreciate it!

Good luck with that. I guess that will help you on your end. Alot of people don't like signature and using that isn't perfect either.

One time I ordered a $200 fishing reel with signature. I was home the day it said it was delivered but I never received it. I called the local post office about it. I said I didn't sign for any package and yet it says delivered. I ask about the signature and I was told they would check into it.

Five days later a person from two blocks away knocks on my door and hands me my package. He said he was sorry it took so long to get my package to me. He said his son had picked it up off the front porch and brought it in the house and he was unaware of the package. So much for paying for signature confirmation. When I called the post office a second time and asked them who signed for it I got the run around again. When I told them what was done with my package the person said that happens sometimes.

Buyer shipped putter back as promised. Have not received it yet but it is moving my direction in UPS tracking.

This week, the PGA Tour is at TPC San Antonio on the Oaks Course for the Valero Texas Open. GolfWRX was on-site Tuesday to catch a glimpse into the bags of some of the world’s top golfers.

The field of 144 is getting ready to battle starting Thursday for the $7.7 million purse, with $1.386 million going to the winner. The tournament is also the last event where players can qualify for The Masters, just like Canadian Corey Conners did last year.
