Those balls are what, 3% larger than standard? Not going to make a difference IMO, and the Supersoft are consistently among the worst of the lower end, low compression balls.

The Magna did not make much of a difference as a larger ball. Actually, there's many SuperSoft fans, loving the lower compression and they are straight and long.

I enjoy lower compression balls as a slower swinger. Duo, SoftFeel, SoftFli, e12 Soft are all light years ahead of the Supersoft. Yeah it's long but it's low and it runs out like nuts so don't expect to hold even semi-firm greens with it.

Pass.

Soft Feel prior gen in yellow is my favorite ball!

The Supersofts are my winter ball of choice.  I hit them high and long and they are not different than any other two piece ball when it comes to stopping power for me.

I go back and forth on the SuperSoft. I usually switch to the ball from ProV1s and AVXs in the Winter because it seemed to be longer on our cold wet fairways. I was longer off the tee, but my scoring declined. Yesterday it was in the high 40s but fairly dry. I decided to play a ProV1 and had a pretty good round. Since I'm not very long off the tee anymore I depend on chipping and putting to score. It's clear to me that ProVs perform better on and around the greens. If my scoring continues to improve, I think I'm going to stick with Titleist no matter the weather.

I get what you are saying.  If it weren't for the leaves, mud, etc., I would stick with premium balls myself in the winter.  But balls tend to disappear easily at my course so I make the switch and save money and frustration.  Balls plug on our greens, too, so spin isn't really an issue for me except for chipping.  But with soft greens, chipping isn't really much of an issue because rolls land fairly softly and don't run out.

My current winter ball is the Super Hot in matte yellow. Easier to find! Tried the SS, but these are much better for me in the cold, damp conditions.

Mike, I've been practicing with them. In my opinion, they are not too different than the magna. They feel a touch better. They are larger, lighter and go mostly straight. The lack of distance is a concern and a reason why I won't use them. My wife may enjoy them for better contact or my son who slices the ball. What a great ball for a beginner too. We were all there with a lack of confidence, this ball will help. You can buy them on the Callaway web site with free shipping. It took three weeks to get them.

Thats odd... i hit into multiple greens with supersoft and they stuck everytime. Even with different irons.

Not here. I believe the comment my playing partner said was "What are you playing with, a super bouncyball from a grocery store toy dispenser?" Just not a fan of them, which is fine given how many other options there are at that pricepoint.

I have to admit I laugh a little bit in general when people say they can't get XYZ ball to stop on a green.  These low spin balls spin 500-1000 RPM less with irons than a premium three piece ball for each respective club.  Are you telling me you get a 7 iron to stop on a green with a premium ball but a 6 iron bounces to the moon and can't get it to stop with a premium ball because the its 500 to 1000 RPM less spin than the 7 iron you just hit???   Its the same math...500-1000RPM less spin is maybe 5 to 10 feet more release.  I can get a 4 iron to stop with the regular supersoft on 99% of greens I have played (that's well over 25 different courses with different green speeds).    Doesn't mean you have to like it but the spin analogy doesn't hold up math wise.

Their has only been 2 greens i believe my 3 hybrid to 7 iron would have rolled off and i still think it would be laying in the fringe on most shots even if it did. Most balls, most shafts to clubs are going to spin enough to hold greens. Ive hit high shots and low shots and still held with all kinds of balls on all kinds of greens. Most. Talkin litteraly probably 95% because their are some really fast greens out there. Ive hit greens and stuck at least 98% different balls and irons and lofts. Me ans my brother have this inside joke when we hit a green and it didnt rip back off the green that we are not generating enough spin lol...
