Understanding most don't own either club yet.......just curious to initial thoughts if anyone has demo/monitor swings with both ....

@QuigleyDU

Haha.. you rang?? Yes, I have hit both. Both are very good. I honestly prefer the epic speed over the LS. The shape is better and for me the numbers were better.

If I was to just to compare the sim2 and the LS. I would lean slightly to the SIM2 slightly. I feel that it has a better overall shape. I like the deeper face. I think the numbers were slightly better as well.

but, I prefer the TSi3 over both..lol. Just to add another wrinkle.

I can post some numbers later this week if you like.

Thanks Bud.....feel/sound being subjective,  could you inject thoughts like

@dj6627 asked about?

Speed has an awesome shape but slightly  less confident inspiring for me like tsi3

Can you compare feel and sound also?   Thanks.   DJ

I think both sound pretty good. More muted. I am having a hard time right now thinking which I would prefer.. I think they are very close sound wise. Interestingly I think Mizuno is winning the sound war this year. I was very surprised by how good it sounded and felt..

I would call it 6s on sound between the SIM2 and epic speed LS.

I've hit both indoor and numbers were very close with the Max LS being more forgiving on mishits. Both great drivers though.  I've had the SIM2 on course already and put a review in my WITB.  The Max LS will gets it's chance on the course as well as soon as I'm able.

Hit both several times over a couple weeks.  Just could not get along with the SIM2 sound and feel (this coming from a SIM).

Max Speed and Max LS were both good, really like the look of the Speed, but the Max LS numbers were better and the Max LS / Smoke IM 10 just really worked well for me.

Speaking of which - this got dropped off on my doorstep today!

Went back to hit again SIM2 and Max LS.....both 9* heads and I brought tsi2 as baseline......SIM2 was adjoined with stock tensei 60R , tsi2 kuro kage silver 60R and I put my UST attas gogo 5R in Max LS head.....tsi2 was very steady and performed as expected.....Max LS was lower spin, higher ballspeed and 8-10 further will maintaining same dispersion.....

SIM2 and Speed head felt too light and won't move on in the process.

I got a fitting yesterday and my final two game down to the Epic Max LS and SIM2.  Both clubs were nearly the same except I was getting lower spin with Epic Max LS and my misses were holding the line better.

I felt something was off between the two clubs but couldn't put my finger on it until I read your post about the SIM2 head felt too light, that was exactly it.  The head did feel just a tad lighter compared to the Epic.

Max LS won out this year. Already in the bag.

Actually I struggled outside with LS but Speed has been a dream!

I went through a fitting and tried both. For me, the SIM2 looked, sounded, and felt better than the Callaway. Performance wise, both heads were equal in distance, but the SIM2 was much straighter. I think I'm a prime candidate for Twist Face, and was able to hit multiple drives with sub 100 side spin.

I ended up being fit into a 9* SIM2 with a RDX Smoke Blue shaft. I liked the combo so well I was fit into, and purchased, a 3, 5, and 7 wood too. The combo just worked for me across the board. I do have a TSI3 with a Ventus Blue shaft, which performs very similar and on any given day might find it's way into the bag.
