my experience is its a great ball...i dont think its as soft as others say, but not hard by no means. its a good ball, I dont think it was tons of spin around greens..I play the MTB Black, has all the BRX has, and better spin around green....cheaper too

I wouldn’t say the 2 are close to comparable.  Both balls are great, but they do different things. The Black, I find, is closer to the pro-V1.  The BRX is a soft low spinning ball. The BRX is at least 5 yards longer off the irons and thats being conservative. It’s probably 10 yards longer, in my experience, than the MTB Black

Is the MTB Black higher launching than the BRX?

I hit the ball a mile high anyways and launch changes via a ball are not something I pay attention to all that often, and I would chalk it up to my inconsistent delivery. But having played both balls considerably. I would say that yes, the BRX is higher launching.

10 is most spin and 1-2 would be a Rock Flite circa 1995.

I switched over to this ball from Z Stars and have been impressed.  The RX does better in the wind and spins great around the green.  I just really like this ball.  I'm swinging it at 101 as measured by GC Quad today.

Same SS and coming from the ZStars. Much longer off both irons and drivers but not as much spin on short game shots.  Guess I just have to play it more to get used to the rollout. Love the added distance though

105 SS/ 150 ball speed guy here with higher spin. Played many balls and found the RX was the hidden gem. I was looking for more iron distance as I play weaker loft clubs, jpx 921 tours.

Driver - Picked up stability and yardage

Irons - picked up 5-7 yards of carry

Wedges - I did notice it no longer rip the ball back on 50 yard wedge shots. Instead it is a 1 hop stop, which is fine.

Putter - good balance of firmness and springyness

Loved the BX in 2021, but I swing at 100SS. Switched the 2021 ProV1 at the end of 2021 and LOVE the feel around the green. Might be losing some yards in my irons coming from the BX. Would the RX be worth a switch?

The BX was very long off the tee, but I was looking for more spin around the green.

Ive played a lot of rounds with the RX.  For me, it’s low spin around the green compared to other premium balls.  I find the QStar Tour to be just as long, with better spin, and cheaper.

RX will spin considerably less  around the green. If you want more spin around the greens the B XS is the one. Has more green side spin than any other ball I’ve tested.

Thanks for the help. I’ll be passing. Liking forward to the 2022 BX to try out.

Q-star tour though feels like a bouncy ball off the wedges and putter and is hard to control. The RX does not have this noticeable spring effect.

If you are concerned on cost try the vice pro balls. They are honestly really good. I've played the pro and pro plus before and the only reason I switched from them was because of the durability. 18 holes with one ball and you kinda want to throw it away. The coating just appears to become dull and lose it's gloss, now whether that actually makes a performance difference, I don't know, but I did go 52 holes with a Vice Pro Plus ball, then lost it. So they are plenty good.

I bought a bunch of 2packs last year or the year prior and they were great. It was a really good all around ball.
