Current state of Game Golf?

Seen a few posts about GameGolf going out/returning to business.  Wasn't initially interested until I came across my son's older version in the garage.  

 

Got me thinking: is the Classic version still functioning as a viable shot tracker?  Would be great (and kind of a bonus), if this could be put in play this year and leverage the progress they've made on SG, data tracking, etc.  If not, i'll look into what else might be useful....thanks for any guidance!

The only reason I stopped using Game Golf and switched to the Shot Scope V3 was due to server issues they were having off and on during the strictest restrictions due to COVID. That prevented the uploading of rounds and made the Dashboard unavailable at times. I've checked from time to time and the Dashboard with all of my rounds and stats from when I started using Game Golf are still there. I would say give it a go. You can always switch to something else later. For a reasonable cost consider the Shot Scope V3, something I've been very pleased with since I started using it last July.

I'm still using Game Golf Live and it works well.   As stated previously they have had issues but seem to be working well now.

Try contacting them via the website as i went on the site the other day and there is now a live chat system and I also found success through messenger through Facebook. I needed a new belt clip and they did a good job at getting one to me even though we were in different parts of the world and thats a few years ago now 😊

I still use mine (classic) and find the new look website alright. They have added a live chat feature and i’ve never played such good golf without it. 🙂 it was a pioneer in that department. Some of the best money i’ve spent on my game 🙂

Thank you...good suggestions, no harm in trying once the snow melts.  Are you using any strokes gained features with the classic version?

I do look at the Strokes gained and its really helpful to see what I can work on. 🙂 The best part of my game according to GG is my putting. Since I switched to my Slazenger V300 -SZR003 model I've never putted so well. Just remember to tap before you swing 🙂 I've worked tapping into my PSR. ^_^
