I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jordan winning the Masters, and Rory winning the PGA this year.

 

Hopefully they will both do it at some point. But does Jordan just want it that little bit more?

I see no one doing it anytime soon, if ever again for a LONG time. The game is different now, a lot more high end talent mixing it up in the big tourneys.

Ok to answer the question, neither will win another major.....but if I had to pick.....Rory just because Spieth will implode before long.  I don't think Rory is a good enough putter to win the Masters but maybe he gets hot or is so good from tee to green that he wins.

 

Also.....if Spieth wins tomorrow.....does the RC talk start?  He did play The Straits very well at the PGA when Day played lights out to beat him!

Where's Brooks?  I thought he was supposed to win 10+?

 

Phil - do they play at Pinehurst again soon?  Remember he lost to Payne there once (with a completely different setup btw).

 

I hope someone does it but have no idea who it will be.  Interesting to follow the predictions over the years though...

What makes you say that? I don't know him personally (perhaps you do?), but from what I have seen on TV and have read he seems like a genuinely decent sort.

It seems from hearing many commentators and media outlets that Jordan tends to over analyze his mistakes with things go wrong. When things are good they’re great for him but when their bad they tend to snowball. Best of luck to him tomorrow. Unfortunately Rory has fallen off and doesn’t seem to have the fire burning right now. Personally I think DJ can go on a big run

Yes. In person as well. Took my (then) 5 year old to the Zurich in New Orleans a few years back.....my son and I were standing next to the ropes between 2 holes.....Spieth comes by and runs over to the other side where we were standing to give my son a high five and one of his ProV1s. No cameras on him.....just a kind act. Something my son will never forget, nor will I for that matter.

That's classy, and reinforces the things I have read about him. 

 

On another note, as amateurs we can get upset with how we play at time (and we aren't all that talented, lol), imagine what it's like for a Jordan Spieth, Hunter Mahan, or Tiger Woods when he had the chipping yips, who played at such a high level to lose their swings like that. Kinda puts things in perspective.

Let me get this straight. 

 

Jordan has one good round (which include a few luck/favourable bounces), after years of playing like and 18hc. And people think he's likely to win another major before Rory?
