I am with you. And the talk about how amazing it is that he is tied for the lead despite losing strokes to the field off the tee. That is impressive and I think points to his round today being on the fluky side. That is not sustainable.

I think today’s round was the same way he used to play. Poor driver and got considerably better the closer he got to the green and other worldly putting.

His drives on 17 and 18. Don’t be fooled by the fact that he’s wearing the exact same hat, shoes, shirt, pants, and pullover that he wore in 2016. Let these two drives tell how he’s going to play tomorrow. Ohh but will he score..? YJS has to make ten 50 footers tomorrow to score, and he might.

He had a couple of fortuitous bounces, and made a couple of long putts. Hopefully he plays well tomorrow, but he can't rely on what happened today to happen again tomorrow.

actually Xander is up top and missing putts while Jordan was chipping in and draining long ones. Seems if Xander could just make a couple shorties he’ll win. If either win it’ll be cool.

I’m pulling for him, but I can’t believe he’ll get that lucky two days in a row. Being that wayward off the tee is going to catch up. Two or three of those swings from the desert will be in a bush or cactus instead of open.  Hope I’m wrong

Missed fairways, some good fortune, but he played some incredible approach shots. Made some long putts, but hit some approaches darn close. 
 

Phil had done this it would be heralded by all except Ferguson as all sorts of brilliant, lol. Tiger? Everybody duck to avoid all the slobber. Reed? Okay, who knows what goes on once you’re off Shot Tracker.

Some of the crap that shows up on this site is beyond stupid. Will he win? No one knows. Will he choke? No one knows. Did he play better this week than he has in a long time? Yes. 

 

I personally like everything I've seen of him (though I admit in reality all I see is what is on TV) but everyone associated with him say he's a great person and I hoping he gets back to his very entertaining winning ways.

I think no matter if he wins or loses, it will an entertaining round to watch.  Xander looks so solid with the new driver.  Wouldn't be surprised if JT throws up a nice little 63 tomorrow to steal it as well.

Hope he finishes solid, dont think he will be able to close it but it would be a great step forward if he can deliver great/good rounds on the weekend. I would consider 68 or better from Jordan today a huge step forward

I love people think making long putts for him is a fluke. They said it 4 years ago, they are saying it now, they will say it 20 years from now.  47YOJS dropping bombs!

Jordan is never gonna win golf tournaments with driving accuracy. Yall are acting like hes doing anything different with the driver this week than when he was winning. He's not. He's just back to playing his style of golf.

 

For Jordan, he just needs to stripe his tee shot on the par 5s so he can score on those. Theres a couple of other tough driving holes where he needs to make sure he keeps it reasonable. Other than that, just play his brand of golf and he is capable of making birdies from anywhere.

 

He has some of the best chipping i've ever seen. The putting, don't need to tell you about. Let that flat stick get some heat today and he will be fine.

2015-2018 he was top 50 in SG off the tee every year. Since then he has been worse than 150 every year.

His round yesterday looked like all his rounds when he was winning.  Some really wild shots followed by short game magic.

 

No idea if he'll win today but that looked like the Spieth from a few years back
