Shaft/build promoting over the top?

New to paying attention to shaft profiles and build. Went to a local golf shop that had a gc hawk sim with a buddy who is in the market for a new driver. He has a much higher ss than me but similar transition. We both tried the tsi3 with hzrdus rdx and ts4 with hzrdus yellow stiff (I believe both 6.0????)
 

I personally had had a hzrdus smoke black in my M1 for the last 2 years and struggled off the tee. I switched drivers this off season and being winter in Maine have only gotten to play my mavrik sz with speeder evo ii 661 indoors but love it. For me I get way more feel from this set up and “can feel where the head is” in my swing.

 

My question is that I noticed while testing the titleist stuff yesterday I could literally not find the face to save my life, and on top of that felt like I was coming over the top like crazy and could not make any adjustments to correct. I could not get into I would say the feel was the biggest difference between my current gamer and the old M1 with smoke black and the titleist stuff.

 

sound familiar to anyone? That tendency to come over the top with what I would consider a more boardy shaft? What causes that?

I haven’t had this happen to me, but I could definitely see a shaft that is too stiff or too heavy or both encouraging you to “muscle up” and come over the top.

Hazardous Yellow is counterbalanced right?  Opposite "feel" profile of the evo ii in your current set up.  I too struggle with cb shafts, if that's the case.  Just a thought.

Yea you’re right that yellow is cb! I never thought about that being the culprit. Makes sense for sure!
