Trash.

Cameron has once again shown that they really don't care anymore. No innovation, bland releases and premium prices for an inferior product. They only care about the Circle T and Moto stuff now.

Which grip will these have?

It's an updated Pistolero Plus. From what I read, the lower portion of the grip is a little bulkier than previous.

how does Pistolero Plus compare to any of the Superstroke offerings?

Personally, I don't think it's like any of the SS offerings. It's much more like the Iomic Sticky with the flat top where your thumbs rest.

Might be closer to the Pistol GTR type grips, nothing like the standard constant radius ones.

With that being said my 5.5 is already on order!

I currently game a SS pistol GTR 2.0 on my Spider and love it - but looking for a milled putter this season

is the SC Matador the obvious comparison for something larger?

Thankfully I like to putt with a blade, because Cameron once again screwed LH players.

PXG has been calling my name for a while now... better pricing and selection.

Not really sure what you are wanting tech wize on a putter? Most successful tour players use a milled blade putter that has been around for decades....

You must be kidding, right? The mere mortal amateurs (even the scratch ones) don't have the same repetition as the Tour guys. Just because Tiger has used the same milled SC blade for 25+ years doesn't mean that it's right for the 18 handicapper putting on greens running 6 on the stimp. I'm a pretty accomplished amateur player but I can concede that any technology or increased MOI is good thing for us.

Additionally, if you look at the Top 25 of the Strokes Gaining: Putting stats for this season, there's no evidence that "the most successful tour players use a milled blade putter" - Xander uses a mallet with insert, JT uses a milled mallet, Simpson uses a garden hoe, Malnati using a SC mallet, Berger has some garbage decel stroke with mallet.

You've yet to answer my question on tech innovation for putters. How is MOI moved in putters? Shape, weight, where the material is placed. So your telling me scotty hasn't dont that? Your remarks to inferior is humorous look how this thread has blown up if his products are inferior no one would take the time to reply lol

This is a golf forum and a very popular one at that. Of course threads are going to garner interest and responses. Back to your original question about technology. SC has yet to truly alter their blade line EVER. All the back to The Art of Putting, basic blade. Select line went from milled to a crappy "insert" and back to milled while reserving their true quality inlays "think Brooks' putter" for the high end collectors. Odyssey and Ping have both tinkered with their faces/inserts over the years. There is a reason why SC sales to the general public are down and it has nothing to do with money or price.

It honestly probably makes it cheaper, less machine time to go in for the finishing fly cuts

It's a new year, so do something different. Golfers like to buy new shiny things, nothing more, nothing less. I can't wait for my new shiny thing, since at least the X5.5 is new, first time SC has released a winged blade with a SS face and some toe-hang. The last phantoms sounded terrible

Brooks putter is no different than tei3 lol and I think you mean Odyssey tinkered with milled faces because they've always been a insert type brand. Ping is ping their newest styles are in high demand... I wonder why? You also stray from your statement about how he only focus on circle t and moto. Last I checked his most popular circle t styles are solid milled blades that are simply hand stamped and moto is same as retail just different designs. This simple argument is tech isn't needed or really wanted here. simple milled non busy putters would remain very successful.
