If anyone is curious the 2021 5.5 has 36* of toe hang.

Been calling my local 2nd Swing since last week to see if they had any Demos available as I would like to incorporate these in a putter fitting but they still don't have any copies available, which I thought was strange. Figured most stores would've receive some copies to fit people with. 

 

Not sure anymore that they'll even receive copies to sell on 3/26.

Guess that wasn't the greatest word to choose. Meant standard shipment of the new Scotty line to sell.

They're not supposed to be out until Friday. Some stores may have them ready to go but aren't allowed to put them out or display them. I know when my store go the Special Selects last year, we were told by Titleist not to put them out or have customers see them until release day. We complied, but that's not to say all golf shops do.

Any hit these yet?  I really didn’t like the last phantom line. Didn’t feel/sound right to me.

 

Are they supposed to feel the same, but with just new shapes?

Hopefully not. 

Got my 5.5 and rolled it yesterday feel is so much better which I figured it would be with the full stainless steel body and face instead of the aluminum. That was the only problem I had with the last 5.5, it sounded and felt terrible. The new one feels great, huge improvement.

Poulter put the new T-11 in play this week at the match play. Keep a close eye on the face... 👀

I pre-ordered mine and received it last week. Have 2 rounds with it so far and it’s been fantastic. I was using the Futura 5W prior to this which I loved but the added toe hang with this 5.5 and firmness with the stainless face has performed above my expectations.

I bit the bullet and picked up a 5.5 over the weekend. First round with it yesterday and i love it. Its what ive been wanting scotty to release for years and i was not at all disappointed.

TGW has them listed as 33"-370g; 34"-360g; 35"-350g but not sure how accurate that is.

First round today with my 5.5. Absolutely love the look and feel.  My first SC and cant wait to get some practice in with in!

I emailed them and they said the 35" is 352 grams.  The one I bought feels like that's correct.

Walked out of a local shop with a LH 5.5 last week, that wasn’t on the shelf yet.  I was picking up some irons, 921 HM, and inquired about LH in their behind the counter SC display. They told me they had it in back 34”, same as the demo on the floor.  I hit it 3x and impulse bought.

 

I’m a long term blade user but mallet curious.  Cannot even look at a Spider.  Been hitting this on a 8’ mat in garage, but not on course yet.  I think I have it figured out, for me a bit more bottom hand swing puts a great roll on it.

Had a chance to roll the 11.5 tonight on the putting green.  Overall it's a nice mallet.  I don't love the looks of it, but it's way better than the Spider or Odyssee - for me.  Grip is thicker than my normal PP58.  Overall it's not bad.  I was surprised by the feel of this putter.  I thought it would have a more solid thud.  Instead it has an aluminum type feel and sound.  It's not bad, but not what I expected.  Overall could I game this putter?  Maybe, I would certainly need more testing time first.  Short putts were about my average, and lag putting was a bit off.  My experience with mallets consists of a Rossie 2, with which I had great success.  Cheers

Tried the whole new lineup at the shop yesterday and really like the way the Phantoms felt but I wasn't really able to pick out what I liked the most

Anyone know if you can you customize the weights that get installed? Would like to order a 36" putter at a heavier head weight instead of the ~350g.

I want to say yes...I ordered my 35" with 15g weights instead of 10g and it wasnt a problem. Even put a Circle H shaftband on for me.
