You have never hit a PXG Gen2 hybrid or you would have added PXG to the list. LOL

  • theothertwo changed the title to Poll- What brand hybrid are you playing?

Just added a Ping G425 to the bag after much testing the past month or so.  I REALLY like the SIM2 Rescue, but couldn't pass on the added forgiveness and distance of the G425, especially in the 19* slot.  If I had (or do add) a 22*, it'll more than likely be the SIM2 Rescue.

An underrated hybrid, if you ask me.  Easy to launch and easy to hit.

The oldest club in my bag, and the only one that I have no interest in replacing, is a Srixon H45 22-degree hybrid. It's reliable and goes the distance I want it to. It's the ultimate comfort club to me.

No Cleveland option?

I started out in 2005 with the original Halo. Great club. I upgraded to my current model in 2011 just because the lofts suited me better but have never considered swapping them out. Love these clubs.

I have the old tour issue ghost deep face proto TP hybrid w/Thump 105x.  There's a reason it's still in the bag.  The deeper face along with the low/low shaft keeps the spin down and still launches high enough to land softly on the greens.

    • 2021 Valero Texas Open - discussion & links
Please put any questions or comments here.

This week, the PGA Tour is at TPC San Antonio on the Oaks Course for the Valero Texas Open. GolfWRX was on-site Tuesday to catch a glimpse into the bags of some of the world’s top golfers.

The field of 144 is getting ready to battle starting Thursday for the $7.7 million purse, with $1.386 million going to the winner. The tournament is also the last event where players can qualify for The Masters, just like Canadian Corey Conners did last year.
