I still chuckle when I remember the first time Sam was paired with Tiger. Walking off the first tee, he apparently wasn't too intimidated to joke, "Wow, I can't believe all these people came out to watch me, today!"

Not when it's live, also on Roku.  I assume you can pause/rewind when watching a replay.

Okay, I’ll look into it. I don’t see how I can record on episode, to watch it “not live”, nor do I see previous episodes (like round 2) on the Gold app. But I’ll dive deeper.

Got it. There is a “replay” option on the left. There I found previous episodes.

 

I’d like to pause live broadcasts though, and then skip through ALL the commercials. A ridiculous amount of LOUD ads. I’m paying for this.

Nor have I on the PGA Tour.

 

Back home in Scotland yes, course is unplayable with wind.

 

Played Memorial Park in Houston about a month a go when the winds were too strong for the speed of the greens, I had a friend who putted into the water 2 times as the wind grabbed it and then the slope then the water.

 

Oh well there goes my entertainment for the avo.

Quite a soft decision to suspend play, I get that balls were rolling on greens but at least keep the players in position and see what happens.

They knew it was going to be windy. Perhaps they should have put some more thought into how they prepped the greens for today's round.

I'm very disappointed. This was building up to be an all-time day. Keegan Bradley had already putted off a green. Despite that, guys were still scoring some. Moreover, it's an entertainment product. Most of all, wind is part of golf. If guys don't want their ball blowing off the green, they can abbreviate these putting routines that border on self-parody.

 

Choose a line, take a stance, pull your coin, stand up, putt.

 

They could play in this, the Tour just doesn't want to do so.

Yea, they showed that putt on the replay and one of the announcers said he hit a perfect putt. No he didn't. He hit way too hard.

Wunderground says wind will remain 20 mph+ until around 1pm.

 

You can play in 20 mph wind or even stronger but not with rolled greens. IMHO it's a failure of the grounds crew or whoever told the grounds crew to speed up the greens. If you see strong wind coming, you let the greens grow.

The PGA Tour said on the Golf Channel that the reason for the stoppage is due to player safety, not due to balls rolling off the green because of the high winds. Some sort of equipment fell down on the 14th tee close to the players.

Even the official admitted the rules can accommodate a ball moving on the green.

 

 As others have stated, could have been an epic day; a rare test showing who truly has ball control.
