Flowneck Anser OEM Options

Looking for different OEM options out there that are flowneck anser style putters. Number 1 on my list right now would be the Odyssey white hot pro 3 (original insert of course). 

 

Ive always played plumbers necks and more specifically anser 2 style putters but want to get a custom made sometime this year so want to try a flowneck to see how they feel! Just looking for different options that are nice that I can buy used and won’t break the bank. Thanks

TP Soto, Bettinardi BB1F, Carbon Holiday Flow neck, Toulon Madison w/H5 neck.

 

Not many Anser style options with a flow that are OEM. The only ones you can get OTR are the Soto and BB1F, the other two you can order or find used. There are other brands you can get an Anser style flow but it's either semi custom order, made to order or best to find used.

Scotty Newport 1.5 from yesteryears. Scotty Newport 2.5 from recent releases. 
 

Ping Anser 4 if you wanna try a cheap one.

I think there is a new Anser 4 coming in the spring.

I Actually wanted to try a flow neck, and found a the Odyssey White hot 3 similar to what patrick reed and tommy Fleetwood used.  I would look for an anser 4 as well

I have enjoyed it for testing

Oh really.... that could definitley be something I look into. Love the classic ping putters and really hoping they come out with a simple no frill milled line!

Regarding the WHP 3 - I wouldn’t get too caught up on whether it’s a 1.0 or 2.0. I’ve owned lots of 1.0s and 2.0s in various WHP models and the difference between them is so overblown. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they’re identical and the differences are all in people’s heads. The price on the 1.0 WHP 3 is not worth it.

This is great advice, especially because i just want to test the neck, I could just go for a 2.0 since most are sub $100

His is a PLD so most likely not coming but I hope it is. If it's another Vault line then if you order through someone with a good Ping account you can order without a sight line.

Those recent Mizuno m craft flow necks look really good and feel awesome.

I like everything about the bb1f, except for how narrow the blade looks.  Wish it was a touch wider.  The neck looks great on it.  Also, I second how awesome Andrew Landry's putter looks in the pic above.  Would love to see that in the flesh.

 

It's pricey, but one of my favorite ones would be going through Toulon garage and doing a madison with flow neck.  Having an option for choice of top line would be nice as I'm not a fan of flange lines.

@MattGolfs: Does this TP Mills = qualify as a flowneck style that you'd be looking for?
If so, then that TPM thread = might get you a bit itchy!

The san diego would be more down my alley with the H5 flow neck. Definitley pricy but nice to have custom options!

I’ve talked to David a few times and this whole neck experimenting is with the end goal of David building me a Flat T with a tri-sole in either a flowneck or plumbers! I love his putters!

It's such a cheaply made putter I can't see what all the fuss is about. It's a nice shape but if Tommy Fleetwood wasn't using one it would be worth peanuts.

If you want cheap and great feel grab an Oddy Whit Hot RX #2. Pretty ugly with the blue but at address it looks and sets up great. Nice and square. Perfect toe hang and insert feels nice and rolls it well. It's what I go to when I don't have a custom on hand or my customs just aren't working for me.  Here is a quick pic with my Morgan. I don't like lines so put lead tape over the flange line.

It is a $100 putter but honestly I think it’s fantastic. The shape and setup are so good. The flow neck just melts into the putter perfectly. 

 

The insert is also great. It just goes to show you don’t need to spend $400+ on a putter.  All I meant is I wouldn’t spend $300 on a 1.0 model but for under $150 it’s a steal.

Love the RX2 recommendation I’ll definitley keep that one in mind!

I really do love the way it looks in photos and don’t like inserts but the white hot insert is great as far as inserts go. I hate flangelines too so the topline is definitely a plus

I think it cost me about $70 bargain bin.  Put the grip you like on it and it will perform for you.

UPDATE: Ordered the WHP 3 off TGW. Was $118 out the door so not crazy expensive and from the looks of ebay, I’ll be able to resell for around the same amount. Going to get it cut down and throw on a Lamkjn deep etched grip and report back!

Can in a few days ago! played a round with it and have a few more coming up! Initial thoughts are i love how i’m able to feel where the club face is during the stroke. Also love the look at address. now when looking at my plumbers neck it just looks awkward.

Half shaft offset is the superior offset. Way more confidence behind the ball.

I’ll update after the weekend but i’m really liking the flowneck. Even questioning my Newport 2 vs newport preference at the moment 😂

Why not find a flow neck NP2 style putter? But give what you can a try, I never thought I'd love a flow neck until I got one. Doesn't even have to be flow neck just half offset and I'm happy.

I think the end goal is going to be a TP Mills flat t with a tri-sole and a flow neck. Either naked or a topline
