  • theothertwo changed the title to Still playing and enjoying your Titleist TS3 driver or have you moved on? Long term love?

I actually moved from my TS3 to a TS2.  It just works a little better for me.  The TS2 has been awesome and I have no reason to change it.

I’m late to the party and just added a TS3 to the bag. It blew me away.

Yeah me too, finally pulled the trigger on one today since prices have gone down a bit due to newer models, can't wait to try it.

Put TS3 in the bag in early 2020, took advantage of price drops due to the release of TSi series.  Primary driver before that was a 917D2.

I gained distance, and once I found the right shaft (an OG 'ahina) it became the most accurate driver I've ever gamed.

I prefer the sound/feel of this over TM/Ping/Callaway's offerings.   Its not leaving my bag anytime soon...

Still have mine in the bag, but I do have a TSi3 head to test once winter passes here in Ohio.

Still in my bag from spring 2019... I'm a bad wrxer - I keep a driver for about 5 years just because of the cost factor.

Also AP2 716s, SM7 Vokey wedges, Odyssey 2-ball putter since 2001

5.8 Index and stick with what I like and works.

Like you, I tend to stick with equipment except for the woods.  My irons are from 2006, Bridgestone J33 CBs.  Curious what driver you played before the TS3.  Thanks.

Went through same fitting process (Trackman, outdoor range) for TS3 and again in October for TSi3. TSi3 won in every category using the same shafts.

I do love the TS3 and will likely hold  onto it.

I tested both heads with all the Graphite Designs options available with the $200 upcharge through Titleist, PX Hulk Smoke Green, Tense Raw White, KBS TD, PX Smoke black, Smoke black RDX and likely a few others that didn't make the cut.

Currently have the TS3 driver and TS2 fairway, did a fitting last month and nothing could beat either of them. I ended up going back to my Kiyoshi purple shaft in both and that won hands down vs anything else. TSi just didn’t feel as good to me and I preferred the sound of the TS3 in the driver better, didn’t notice a difference in the fairway. Unless something new can clearing beat out these 2, I won’t be changing anytime soon.

Moved to g400lst

Loved the TS3, great sound (when pured) but ultimately hit too many bad shots. I can hit g400lst anywhere on the face and it’s in play. Yeah it spins more but I am accepting that trade off for now..

I loved my ts3 and wish I would have kept it.  Was lured away by other options.  I will eventually either end up in another ts3 or make my way into the tsi3 at some point.  The ts3 treated me well with my miss, which is a high toe.

However, I am really  enjoying the PXG Proto I recently picked up.  Very forgiving and sounds amazing!

Love my TS3. Tested it against all the latest and greatest. Although some of the newer drivers are longer by a few yards. Still isn’t worth upgrading.

What shaft are you using? I’ve had mine for about three months. Love the way the head looks/feels just think I may need a different shaft. I was not fitted.

Mitsubishi Tensei raw Blue 65g stiff. I’ve tried every shaft in the cart for both heads.

If you get the right shaft with this driver head it will probably stay for another 5 years or so.

TS3 remains in and will remain in the bag for me.

My recent-ish history is 913D3, 915D2, 917D2 and then TS3. Of the first three, the 913 was my favourite. I just seemed to be ridiculously comfortable with it. Whilst I sold on the 915 and 917, I still have the 913 at home as a just in case anything happens back up. That said, it would simply be as a back up. The TS3 just works for me. I find it just as forgiving as the 915 and 917 were but longer than either of them and in a more pleasing package. From what I am told, the TSi3 may be acoustically a little more pleasing on the ear but in the grand scheme of things, I just don't see how the performance will be better any better than the TS3 so dropping £500 for a slightly better sound is not going to be worth it for me.

Staying with the TS3, but tempted to go back to my 917d3. Performance is really good with the TS, but just can't get used to the sound. Too loud. TSi3 sounds like an option, but not until the prices come way down.
