I am just pleased by not only the response to the article, but to the thread itself. You always think its just you, but there really are others out there going through the same things.

This might be my favorite thread on Wrx ever when not talking about comedy.  Some of them for sure have been better because of the hilarity.  But this one interests me to no end. 
 

 

ran across this lady this morning, for some reason she really strikes a few nerves with me .  It’s a long video.  So you really have to be in a curious mood to stay with it.  But she hits on many many different types of thinkers.  She’s mildly on the autism spectrum now after being born in a much worse off state.  She had a good mother who pushed her gently to not be a hermit , and to work things out.    Now she’s an author several times over snd a industrial designer who has some amazing renderings in her portfolio.  
    I guess to tie this to this thread and go Bubba.  Understanding these “ quirky “ behaviors and “ bad days “ starts with understanding the different types of thinkers. And why they are different. Snd why all types are needed.  Etc.   

 

like I said. Long video.  But I’m taking 10 minutes bites of it , and then a break to digest.   I’ve gleaned several nuggets that absolutely make sense to me already and fill in some blanks in the “ why “ checklist for me.

If you find that video interesting, you might nerd out like me on Meyer's Briggs personality stuff.  I find it fascinating especially regarding how well it describes me and how my brain tends to view the world and make me behave.  You also really get a window in why other people act how they do, although given my personality type, I am already pretty aware of what makes other people act the way they do, they however, don't usually understand why I act the way I do lol.

There is a lot of discussion in psychological circles about the validity of MBTI but I personally have found it useful in various instances of life.  There are a great deal of people that don’t understand it’s a guide to help understand not only your behaviors but also your thought process.
