Anyone have any experience or have one?  going back and forth between this and foresight.  

Foresight for accuracy indoors, garage sim set up only needed

want something ceiling mounted

watching Gs Pro software looks awesome to use with Uneekor and possibly foresight if can be done with GC Hawk

Yes, I went with the eye xo over the quad and I love it! Have it in my garage with E6 with premium course upgrade (pebble, spy glass, Spanish bay etc) and TGC 2019 as well which I got for FREE through carlofet.com. Definitely recommend using them if you're going to buy it.

If you want to go with the ceiling mount then it's really the only option. GCHawk is great but all of it's simulator support is entirely experimental AFAIK. It "should" work with TGC2019, but I don't know of anyone who has one that has actually tested the interface to make sure it works like the quad does. It's not a very popular product so you're rolling the dice on whether or not you'd get support, which goes doubly for something small like GSPro (meaning that if it doesn't work, which I have no idea, you might be SOL because development time won't be wasted for one dude).

I would definitely go with Uneekor. Better price & better customer service. They are kicking the overpriced GC Hawk's butt.

 

Eye XO & software will run you $10-12K depending on what software you choose. Simulation software to choose from includes E6 Connect, TGC 2019, Creative Golf 3D & GSpro. Lots of great options.

 

Exe Xo Includes club head data as well. You need to apply stickers to clubs just like Foresight HMT. Stickers not needed for simulation play though.

 

GC Hawk & Foresight FSX 2020 software will cost about $18K. ($15K for GC Hawk & $3K for FSX 2020) Tack on another $4K if you want club head data.

 

Only other software Foresight officially supports is E6 Connect. You still have to buy Foresight's FSX 2020 for $3k even if you just want E6 Connect which is like $2K (unless there is a deal or some other offer at the time) plus annual subscription of $300 or $600.

so for Eye Xo you do need stickers to get club data?  When playing Sim without stickers, you won't get club head speed, ball speed and such?

Ball speed, launch, spin and direction are all you need for sim.  Club head speed can be read differently by the various launch monitors, so I wouldn't reply on it.  Swing path, face angle, lie, etc are all nice, but not necessary for sim.

Yes-for you to see "measured" club head data you will need stickers. You don't need the stickers to play simulation as it only needs the ball data. You will get an "estimation" of club head data based on ball data without the stickers.

 

I think the stickers are more for club fitting purposes or range practice but you can use during simulation if you wanted to do that. We usually don't. If you have a group of 4-8 guys wanting to play some simulation golf it would be a hassle to put stickers on all the clubs.

 

Foresight is the same way. You need to add stickers to get measured club head data. costs extra $4k though...

JLew, considering this set up also.  Are you using the club data?  Do you have many/any no data, or off readings?

Sorry, didn't see this earlier.  I do use the stickers to get club data, just not all the time during the season as I don't like taking the stickers on/off.  During the offseason I will have them on there permanently.

Mis or non-reads are very rare in my experience.  Still no regrets going into my second winter with it.
