Forged CB Players Irons - Name your top 3

Most forged players cb's are very small and have minimal forgiveness vs the MB that you will notice so I generally just go with the MB or something with a bit more tech/forgiveness like ap2/Ping s line. For example, the titleist cb was never much more forgiving vs the mb but you ended up giving up some looks and turf interaction if you went with cb.

 

non forged would be my #2 and 3 which also have a bit more tech/forgiveness

Own all 3 sets, currently gaming the 765s - it's my first Srixon set and don't have much to base it off of, but I don't fully understand why the 65 series is detested in comparison to 45 and 85 lines. Guess I'll have to hit those to understand, but loving the 765 so far. DBMs were first set I ever built for myself so have a special place, and the MP 60s are something I picked up cheap to test out some refurbishing and game every now and then.

 

 

Same question - why do the 765 not get the love as compared to the 785s and 745s?

I was a KZG dealer back in the 90's and that iron was my biggest seller. Awesome CB!

I actually preferred the z765 over both. I played a z965/z765 combo for several years. Never liked the 785's but did think the 745's felt amazing. I just got along better with the 765 for some reason.

Miura mc-501 is in the bag and so sweet

AP2-710, because if I wanted to play a round at the local par 3 with a single club this one would do the job

They played amazing, but the blades were better. I was originally 3-6 CB and 7-PW blade, but loved the blades so much, I ditched the CB's. 🤣
