Still here Hawk - just a little older and maybe a less less vocal.  Life gets in the way sometimes but I'd be up for a golf trip where we could all meet and share some tall tales or any tales. Just have to shake the rust off my game to keep up with Schnee ! Good news is the itch to play more this year has returned.

My pleasure!! Just wrote everyone I’ve had good interactions with here on WRX so far...only been 2.5 mths on here, so pretty much first impressions so far.

 

Been to St. Louis a couple of times...will let you know if I make it back for sure.

 

Sounds like a great game-plan...I’m also aiming to be a scratch player consistently this season hopefully!

He got quiet for a while, but mat562 seems like the type of guy who would have you busting a gut without ever becoming animated himself.

We have a Place up in Surfside Beach called the BBQ House ( Uncle Cardy take note)--- They cook their meat without sauce per say but have a lot of different varities of sauce you can choose from. Thought I would point it out to some of the maybe visitors that maybe do not know what some of us are talking about--- Of course for me it is always the Eastern NC vinegar and pepper based--- And note I have been trying to get you Canadians free for some time--- I have a lot of Canadian Snowbird friends that I have met over the 20 winters living here and frankly I miss them

Finally the last group, the one that would be a unicorn sighting for many. @MtlJeff again, @DirtyBirdie2another Canadian with a sick putter collection and @1puttTUT who I'm extremely jealous of his recent IG posts and putter collection lol. But we're all lefties and a lefty foursome doesn't happen often. 

 

There is a lot of truth to that statement, I RARELY show up to the course with only 14 in the bag! And thank you for listening to the show, really appreciate it.

For the story, I would want to golf with Opinder.  Is his swing as creative as his club building methods?

Mtljeff- have had some interactions w him and he seems like a very cool guy and a decent player so we would have some fun...

 

Jonesscott, Jack Pearsall (sp??), Ferguson, Hombomb (or whatever his name is), and cant remember their names but the guy who shot the disappointing 67 and the one specific guy that talked about hitting 3 iron over 300 (i know that could be a good chunk of wrx but this guy sticks out).

@Jim Waldron would have an invite to any group that I was in. First, his grasp of the mental side of the game is incredible, and while most Class A's know the buzzwords, current theories du jour and can regurgitate🤮 the mental game mantra, Jim's philosophy is based off of decades of studying, integrating and successfully implementing into his own game the philosophy that he teaches.

 

That aside, he's a Class Act, a Gentleman and a throwback to the TRUE Teachers of days gone by.

 

Ok, that's it, so my minimal group would be a sixsome cuz I'd be riding shotgun(nonplaying) with @BIG STU, with Maddie & Jim being exempt Pros, and my four Ams from the board are all Plusses, so even with a sixsome, they'd outpace(and outplay😂) the vast vast majority of foursomes, lol. Stu may not be a Plus on the board however trust me, for money(I'm talkin money, not $5 Nassau's, haha), he's been there done that and you'd better be Playin Plus to beat him😉

Later Edit: 02/23/2021: lolol, Maddie just informed me that the one "Plus Am" that I'd choose is in fact not an Am, as I thought that like @isaacbm, he got his status back, however as I give it further thought, he's indeed a Pro. I'm speaking of Patrick, @rangersgoalie, and for you newbs, He had a card to The Show for almost a decade(8 seasons) till a bad shoulder injury forced him into an early retirement. He, like Jim, is another "old school" Pro, and ya gotta trust me here as if you've never spoken with or even better, been instructed by an old school Teacher, you have absolutely ZERO earthly idea of what you've missed. That said, I may have to get my own cart, safety be d@mned, as I'm approaching an eightsome(seven) and I've got 12-15 Gents that I could plug into that eighth spot, lolol. Hey Richard, yes, things are going about as good as they can be these days. Lamenting the snow on the ground and counting the days until it melts. It seems that you are doing well, as well, and I certainly hope that is the case. 

 

The "more WRX" comment is mainly a joke, but also an aside to my utter and complete confusion concerning the culture around here. I've been on here for ten years and still can't quite figure it out. Most of the time I just get yelled at - or am completely bored by the endless gushing over new clubs and arguments about Tiger Woods.

 

I can understand why some people are popular on WRX, and I clearly understand that I am not one of them.
