So, all kinds of stuff to complain about these days. I thought I’d make a positive thread that we can also help each other with as well by mentioning products that performed better than you expected.

 

I had a surprisingly good experience today to share. And it made me think of another product that’s been excellent and I use everyday.

 

First good story is with UPS, lol. UPS gets no respect, everybody, me included, looks at FedEx as classy. But, UPS showed me something today. *warning, long, boring, story coming....
 

I ordered a wireless mouse from Amazon, delivery set for today. I’m waiting for it and get an email from Amazon saying they attempted delivery, couldn’t, and now UPS needs info and here’s their phone number.

 

Im thinking, yeah right, I’m going to waste an hour of my time with that, I’ll just cancel the order and re-order. It’s some mistake since we get stuff all the time. But I need this mouse so...one try...

 

So, I call the number, put my tracking number, and it says “we couldn’t deliver due to a problem with the address”. It says my address, the address is correct, so I’m thinking, you guys are idiots, and I’m about to hang up, but just for the hell of it, I hit “O”.

 

This guy picks up quick, takes my tracking number, listens to me and says he’s going to file a dispute with and send it to the local warehouse place and tell them they have the right address. Im thinking, this will take 2 weeks, forget it, I tell the guy and he says,

 

No, they will call you within the hour.

 

Im like, yeah, sure, that’s great buddy and hang up. I’m about to start a workout like 5 minutes later and my phone rings, lol. This nice lady listens to me, calls the driver on his cell, and the guy comes back and drops it off.

 

I was in total shock. So...props to UPS!

 

My other good experience is with these socks. I mean, especially since covid, I’ve been constantly wearing these same 6 pairs of basic socks from Skechers. But I’ve had them for like 2 years, maybe more. They never stretch or get holes, they are comfortable, easy to put on, and they seem to get really clean. Even with no bleach. Amazing socks!

Hayward variable speed pump for our pool - installed in November, this thing is quiet, costs about $15 less per month to operate and cleans terrifically at a lower psi so my filters will last longer. 
 

On the same note as your socks, a few years ago I started wearing Duluth trading co. boxers. The first order lasted I think 4 years and I just replaced them all. Comfortable, breathable and last forever.

Thanks for the tip on the sketchers socks.  Will have to give some a try.  As for companies, I bought a coat from "Little Donkey Andy" on Amazon, and a seam near the pocket ripped only a month into ownership.  I contacted them about it, and they sent me another coat but told me to keep the original (which I repaired with some fabric glue, which may or may not hold up).  Now, maybe the other coat will have the same problem, but still, a pretty stellar response.

Most recently neato robot vacuum. 
They had a 24hr turn around on a warranty repair and sent it back with a new brush and filter. All free. 
 

Also, pelican cases. No questions asked lifetime warranty. Send them a pic and they ship you a new one.
