He definitely has some serious claws! Thankfully he never uses em on me or the furniture. He’s a mean tree climber! So cool to watch him run and sprint up the trunk of a tree. He absolutely LOVES it out side. When we got him they told us he’s an indoor/outdoor cat but keep him inside for 30 days so he can acclimate to his new home. It was during nice weather so most of the doors and windows were open. He would go up to the screen and try to push it open. Just sit in from of the screen and look out. On the 3rd day he was able to push out a small corner of a window screen and sneak out into the big back yard. I was sitting in my chair downstairs and saw him walk by in the backyard. I had to to a double take. From that day forward he was outside a lot with no issues. So much for 30 days! Haha

We went with Millie for a name. So we have Mia, Kappi and Millie. Doing the slow introduction thing with them.

I have a cat, I trash talk him all the time. My wife HATES it and legit gets mad at me when i do it. But that makes me do it more

 

When I walk up the stairs and he's in the way , I yell things at him like "get out of my way, you're an animal, I OWN you" 

 

My daughter who is 3 says things like this to him now. Which makes me laugh, and drives my wife nuts.

I agree but that’s not the cat’s fault. That’s the owners fault for not cleaning the litter box more frequently.

When I first retired I did a lot of pet sitting, mostly dogs, but a few cats.  Basically, I'm allergic to cats so I can't pet them much, or pick them up, anything like that.  I found cats to be vindictive after their people are gone about 3 days.  They would do mean things to me, on purpose.  Like throwing up right in front of the door I entered in, or purposely missing their litter box, making a mess on the floor.  One particularly nasty male cat would sneak up behind me while I fixed his meal, & bat the hell out of my leg with a paw, then run off after I screamed.  Forgive me if I find cats hard to really LOVE.  🤣

That's the owners fault not the cat.  Ever walk into a house with dogs?  Yes, they smell.  We have the box outside on a screened in porch.  There's a cat door through the wall into the porch.  They love being outside but can't get out of the porch.

My two cats aren't like that at all as we have a pet sitter look after our two and we can be gone two weeks without any problems.

She also sends text message updates with pictures of our girls.

We have a pet sitter that comes over twice a day.  Each time she takes short videos of the boys for us and sends them daily to our cellphones.

Mille is settling in nicely, except she and Kappi do not get along yet. They share each others toys, and sit in each others spots when separate. But Kappi loves his attention and still wants to assert his dominance. It's a process I guess.

Because my cat and my dogs don't get along, I built a ladder bridge from the roof of the back porch to the side frence. Then installed the cat door in our bedroom window so she can come and go as she pleases. There is a baby gate keeping the dogs downstairs.

You keep up after your cats and you should never smell it, unless you're hanging around right over the litter box.

I am a huge cat lover.  Here are my two, Diablo (black) and Lyric (buff).  Diablo is a polydactyl and is a huge kitten.  He looks menacing but he is scared of everything except the people he trusts.  He's the only cat I've ever had that lets me carry him around like a baby as he drools all over me and purrs.  Lyric is the younger buff .  She is my wife's baby girl.  She is so soft to pet and has a demanding personality.  If she needs you to do something, she meows and gets up in your space!

 

I love, love, love cats!
