Any Cat Lovers?

Our daughter's cat in rural Washington was recently attacked by an owl and had to be put down.  But, I'd never deny a cat outdoor privileges.  Especially at night.

I’m almost leary of typing this.  We have four but a total of ten in the house.  Ny wife fosters for the Humane Society so have six fosters at the moment.  Three are about to go back for adoption to their forever home and the other three need to grow a bit first.

Had a great cat growing up.  Our daughters each wanted and got kittens when they were 5 years old from Santa, the cats have both passed on but they were great.  As more of a dog person, I have to admit once we no longer had cats the house eventually didn't smell like we had cats, didn't run into random bits of litter here or there, and so there were some things about the cats we didn't miss too much.  But, the oldest brings her new cat to visit (and her dog) and the youngest I'm guessing will be getting another cat in the near future.  Here's the one cat in the "family" at this time.

I feel fortunate with mine. He is an indoor/outdoor model. Haha. Have a litter box for him but he prefers to do his business outside and will let me know when he wants out. Only uses the box if he gets stuck inside and he absolutely has to. It’s practically never. Also exclusively uses his scratch pad and never claws any furniture.

We have the boys litter box outside on an enclosed back porch.  The porch is about 8 feet off the ground over looking the lake.  They have access to it 24/7 through a cat door.  They absolutely love sitting outside and watching all the critters passing by.  Here's their view.
