How Can There Not Be a Thread? - Get Ready Mods!

I can't believe that there hasn't been a thread about the Michelle Wie West story featured on WRX's front page. How is this (apparently) being ignored in the forums? Have all the attempted threads been closed? Is this potato simply too hot?

 

Anyone care to play before the mods inevitably shut this down?

I highly doubt "every other person on the planet" has had that thought. Beyond that, many of us realize that the vast majority of thoughts that go through out heads should not be verbalized. It's a thing called "class" or perhaps "simple respect for other human beings."

I can only offer an opinion. It's because the comment came from a guy who is starved for attention and will say anything to get it. He's a punchline to a joke to most

I was offended by Guiliani's statement.

But I wasn't surprised by it.   The crowd Guiliani runs with are all pretty despicable

Enlightening responses so far. We've got two in the "men are going to be men" camp and two in the "it's not an issue and we should just ignore it" camp. I'm sorry we haven't heard anything from the ladies yet...

Feeling the necessity to comment on the brouhaha today surrounding Rudy Giuliani's vulgar comment on Michelle Wie West within a Steve Bannon podcast. One step forward and three steps back is an appropriate phrase I think. After shedding a tear, gonna chalk it up to the likes of his generation who will never get it or better stated perhaps, get past it. All this within a tribute to Rush Limbaugh. The day Rudy and Rush chuckle about this shared memory together will come soon enough. Kudos to Michelle and the USGA for their swift, potent response.

Yes.  Dim and realistic.  I dislike lawyers, politicians, and marketers as well.

Yeah, I'm with you on the lawyers and politicians. Marketers not so much - because we, as consumers, always have the opportunity to say no. With lawyers and politicians, many times we don't.

 

But, as far as men are concerned, I'll say this, we aren't all bad and many of us are trying very earnestly to be better.

I'm not ignoring it and being honest half the posters on the PGA side of WRX say very similar things about LPGA players.  Life is too short trying to find something to be outraged about every day on the internet.  Thus always don't feel the need to comment on "IDIOT'S saying IDIOT things" like Rudy.
