After finally release slanted neck X5.5, many of his players switched to slanted neck X11.5, which is not available for retail. 😑

If you look closely, you'll noticed that the hosel is not weld in place. I think scotty will introduce this head later this year.

Wish there were more OTR options for top sight lines vs. back flange.  Typically see them more on fang style putters, but even most of the blades default to back flange.  Doesn't help that I am a Lefty, am right eye dominant, and line it up with a line on the ball...

I'd have to agree, it can't be THAT hard to offer this as an service on an OTR.  Taylormade & Toulon are doing it already and you can charge a premium for it.  Scotty has the circle T market to protect though, so I'm sure that's the reason.

 

The putter itself in this thread is awesome though, I'm not a mallet guy but seeing that one makes me sort of want to be.

This thing is sick. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the slant neck and low bend shaft other than looks? IE same toe hang, performance type stuff?

 

I've been playing a spider for a bit and love the toe hang mallet. Would buy the 5.5 but this 11.5 just looks so good. Would love to move into this if its going to behave similarly as I don't love the feel of the spider.

Feels like Scotty going the cheaper route rather than the right route on the 11.  Probably much easier and cheaper to mass produce the same putter head for the 11 and the 11.5 by offering a different bend shaft rather than providing a slant neck on the 11.  Bottom line if we move from a Newport 2 and want to game a Scotty mallet, we are going to a custom shop or dropping north of a G for the H20.  Common sense they would make the option to transition from their most popular putters profile to a mallet seamless.

Right on point here.  He released the Holiday 2020 (H20) which is the limited 11.5 Prototype, but not Circle T.

Using one of my favs of his...looks like the Newport Flow neck all black.  Remember the ss scalloped old school 1.5...he must have a heck of a collection.

I used to look forward and typically still do...reading about WITB and see what the pros are using, including LPGA as much as PGA.

 

however as of late, the information isn’t accurate.  C.Smith has not been using that putter if anyone is watching the WGC.  Maybe Cameron rolled it as a test prior to Thur start.  He is rolling classic anser, 009 blade style.
