That Tyne 4 should make a lot of people happy. Hard to tell if it’s milled or a grooved insert though.

It’s an insert. By the looks of the image here it seems it could be a couple layers? The shaft bends in some of those are interesting. Would love to see the heads with more neck/hosel options. I think that’s one thing that some of the other companies have really started to do quite well, that Ping just hasn’t yet decided to commit to.

Man, Lamkin's doing a really good job getting their grips on putters these days. Off to the top of my head, Taylormade, Cleveland, Bettinardi, Toulon, and now Ping have offered Lamkin Sink Fit grips as their standard grip on one of their retail lines.

I am not a fan of the material those Sink Fit grips use, so I hope this doesn't mean that Ping and Golf Pride are breaking up. The PP58 midsize is the best feeling rubber grip on the market, in this humble poster's opinion.

Feeling good about my decision to jump into the Heppler line.  I'm sure these putters will roll just fine, but not a fan of the aesthetics.  They have a Tommy Armour/Ray Cook/Top Flite/discount brand look about them.

It’s amazing how distracting that bottom gets when rolling the rock 🤦🏻‍♂️

Is that any reason to make it look cheap?

I just feel like Ping putters keep getting uglier and cheaper looking. I’ll get backlash for this comment, but even there PLD releases IMO have been lackluster.

No, I agree.  I'll stick with my ancient stainless Pal 2.  Besides looking cheap, there is something weird looking about recent Ping neck designs at address.  They never seem to be square to the target, no matter how much I try to adjust.

I just looked at the Odyssey thread, and then made the mistake of looking at this one. Is Ping actively trying not to sell putter? I feel like this is the golf version of the Producers. Couldn't agree more with the comments above about these putters looking cheap and having very weird necks, in particular those with the double bends. Will be sticking with my old 95 Scottsdale.

I'm so disappointed with these, and I'm a huge Ping fan, especially their drivers, irons, and milled putters.

These look like a rehashed version of their Sigma 2 line with different colours and a tweaked insert.

Was really hoping for a milled line and a B60 offering.

Guess I'm saving some cash this year, maybe for a 7 wood to replace my 3 hybrid.

Ok - I will politely bow out, as I didn’t know that about white accents.

I’m not gonna say white accents always make putters look cheap. But what I will say is “Spider Blade”.

Also, am I the only one noticing what looks like some less-than-stellar glue jobs on those inserts in the photos?

I remember, as I'm old, when everyone wanted a Ping putter in their bag. The old school MnBr, BeCu,Nickel and Jas Anser putters, Ti pixels and Isoforces. They somehow got a little left behind by Odyssey and Scotty Cameron amongst others. I don't think these are going to change the game for them either. It's funny but it seems that Ping make one of the poorest looking Anser putters now which seems ridiculous.

I have already had a say on these putters on another page. I am a huge Ping fan,( 30+ years, if Ping made it i have probably played it.) but their putters of late just look cheap to me. Glad I have a PXG putter on order, and with the lack of new irons coming from Ping , I can see myself heading to all PXG in my bag this year.

Agree as well. I put an old Redwood Anser back in the back this year and it looks better than any of the retail or PLD releases of late, imo.

I didn't even think of that, but now that I read this... I cannot un-see a Sports Authority Top Flite putter.

Just picked up a Vault 2.0  ZB Stealth.

First modern ping putter I've owned.

Soft but rsponsive feel. Seem's to roll the ball well.

At least some of the newer lines are a little heavier.

I think the Heppler line looks hideous.
