It’s not hard to draw a conclusion of DUI when you have a history of addictive behaviors. Let alone a DUI on your record. 
 

ive been sober 29 years. I don’t have a special gift like he does. Hope he gets the help he needs.

Really sad to see everyone making assumptions. Lots of factors can cause single car accidents. I had one that almost ended my life and it had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol.

 

Prayers to Tiger that the injuries aren’t too severe and he can make a full recovery. 🙏

Regardless of what you think of him as a man, nobody should wish for anything other than a full and speedy recovery. Thoughts go out to Tiger and his family.

Over the center island, through a heavy wooden Rolling Hills sign.. What is going on with Woods and his dangerous driving. The level of distraction to cause this accident is extremely serious. Thank god no one else was injured.

 

As for Woods, wishing him all the best, but figure it out man. You’ve endangered too many lives on the roads for this to just be ‘stuff happens’.

First off, best wishes to Tiger as a human being. As a golfer, I can't help but think this has to be the end of his golf career. I can't imagine he is willing to through the physical and mental grind he is facing to get his body back in shape. Not to mention, with the trauma his body took, you would think his back suffered more damage. 

 

I hope I'm wrong and he is able to bounce back from this.

The news brief says "The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick "Tiger" Woods.", so that seems to read that he was the only one in the car and was driving.

2 things can be simultaneously true:

 

1.  Tiger just had back surgery and is probably on pain medication...because, ya know, that's pretty normal when you have back surgery.

 

2.  Tiger should not have been driving because of #1.

 

 

I don't think anyone is blaming him for taking painkillers.  It's the taking painkillers and driving part (if that is, indeed, the case).  The pearl-clutching over the speculation is hilarious.  He was clearly on them during that broadcast and it's highly unlikely that the pain from back surgery suddenly disappeared between then and today.  Nobody KNOWS anything, but it's hardly wild a** speculation either.

The doctors were diplomatic when they said he has "multiple leg injuries".....I would guess golf on a professional note for him is over.

It can't be anything he may have done! Gots to blame everyone and everything else before the facts start trickling out. That's standard operating procedure now.
