7 pages and no mention of the big cat having 9 lives? 😛

Glad he is ok, don't expect we'll see him tee it up this year.

I'm guessing Tiger's at Torrance Memorial Hospital right now, which is the closest facility to the crash site.  I worked there as an anesthesiologist until 2011.

Correcting myself here.  Just saw on TV that he's at LA County-Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.

Was he under the influence during the interview?  Maybe?  He could have been tossing a few back while hanging out at the clubhouse.  Or it could have been painkillers, or maybe he was up late and tired and his eyes were just puffy.  Correlating his behavior Sunday to this morning is a bit of a stretch.

I have to say, I'm no Tiger fan, but I just watched the Genesis interview and he seemed perfectly fine to me.  His face looks a little bloated maybe, but that could be just from getting older and having to limit his activity after another surgery.

So I understand the speculation, but IMO that interview isn't evidence for anything.

I just watched it a few minutes ago, and thought the same thing. Could he have been under the influence? Absolutely. He just had another back surgery.  I don't know though, and neither does anyone else on this forum. So why speculate? So you can be the first to say I told you so if it turns out to be true? And I'm no Tiger fan. After he messed around on his wife, I lost all respect for him.  But dang, give him the benefit of the doubt until results come back and are reported on.

I really hope we get som answers sooner than later. I don’t blame anyone for soeculating. That’s what you do when you don’t have enough information. What annoys me is when people speculate and then cast their judgment based on that.

I just hope it doesn’t have to do with depression (that documentary..) or painkillers. It could be anything, but before we have answers it’s just natural to speculate. And there for I think it’s good if there isn’t top much secrecy around this. When it comes to his injured legs.. I really hope it’s ”only” fractured legs. We don’t know tho, could be much worse :(. Some stuff you can’t repair.

CNN reported Woods was taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

Just saw that, thanks.  I did my residency training at HUCLA and was faculty there for a few years, so I've got a history with that place too 🙂

The jaws of life isn’t a medical tool. I think there’s some misunderstanding on that. Yes, it’s heavy duty and it’s used in bad accidents. But it’s used to break open a vehicle to pull someone out. Back to the accident, the jaws of life tool was available for usage. It looks like the FD pulled open the broken windshield and pulled out Woods that way. If the windshield frame had been crushed, jaws of life would have been used to create an opening.

Ok I will say this and I am not speculating or pointing any fingers. I do know for a fact when I broke my back I was prohibited from driving any kind of vehicle for 2 weeks after discharge. I do know for a fact as an ex EMT and Truck Driver trainer that certain painkillers affect everyone differently. I do know some have a  somewhat lasting effect on things like reflexes and sight judgement etc after active taking them and it will vary from person to person.

As of now we do not know the complete story someone could have run him off the road or there could have been mechanical failure such as a tire or tie rod failure. But I hope as a person he will recover. The main worry here is his quality of life with his kids not golf

I dont know what was said. I dont want to look back and see. I am pretty sure I can guess. This is terrible and sad. It sounds like he is pretty badly hurt. I am guess multiple leg fractures...

I hope that is something simple like fog and not something else.

It hasn't been as "gross" as some want to make it out to be.  It's mostly been speculation that prescription medication might again be the culprit.

Well, he wasn’t driving a fast car, there was no ice, snow, or rain. Could he have been texting? I suppose so.

He did have back surgery not that long ago and he does have a history of abusing pain killers. It’s not exactly a stretch.

Jimmy Roberts just suggested that an animal ran out in front of him........

He probably flew into an uncontrollable rage due to the completely nonsensical placement of these two speed limit signs.

"Which is it, 45mph or 25mph? And if it's 25mph, then why bother putting that 45mph sign the....ooooooohhhh shiiiiiiiiiiii..."

So we know there are leg injuries - I hope they are not serious and can be recovered from.

As someone with a stupid back, albeit nowhere near Tiger's level of back stupidness, I sometimes injure myself for days by doing something as benign as walking off the last step with a flat foot or getting tackle-hugged by a nephew. I hope that the forces involved in the crash, so soon after what sounded like significant back surgery, haven't wrought more havoc there. I don't really care if we never see Tiger on tour again, but his kids need him to Dad things with.
