Found this old wedge digging through the in laws attic. Went out and hit a few balls and woah!!! Amazing feel for my swing! Curious if a modern day version could be whipped up...

 

1. Does anybody know the specs on this? Loft, lie, etc.? 
 

2. The shaft bad just says ‘Golden Bear Tour Flight Feel’. Any ideas on the specs for this shaft? Is there a modern day equivalent?  or similar feeling shaft?

 

3. If you were going to recreate this wedge in WedgeWorks (or similar) what grind and bounce options might be close? Understand you may never get a true 1 to 1 match.

The Golden Bears of that era were less expensive store-line clubs sold in complete sets.  Yours is the sand wedge I believe from one of those sets.  I had the irons at one time and as I recall the heads were heavy and the shafts soft.  I doubt you'll find specs on them but maybe one of the Mac experts will chime in with them.

 

If you are looking to replicate it I'd suggest taking it to a builder and have them measure it up and check the shaft flex.  A good club guy should be able to tell you the specifics like weight, loft, lie, and bounce.   Having said that I have to ask:  why replicate it?  You already have it!  😃
