I was looking at the Hoofer but I’m def interested in this one too - wish the black grey didn’t have the lime accents.  I kinda like the Black Camo but camo is a little trendy IMO. So maybe all black.  Or maybe the navy Crossover model.

The FlexTech also comes in a Black/Grey colourway without the lime/neon green accents:

I tried this one and it’s a really nice bag. Ended up going with the FlexTech Lite though because I found it had less club tangle because of the layout of the club dividers, FYI.

^I was looking at that color.  And I ride quite a bit so I feel like I’m going to want the cart strap pass through.  I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of reviews and looking at every option so I’ve become a bit paralyzed.  I either walk nine or ride 18. My goal is to get in better shape and walk 18 more often...probably with a push cart.

Yeah, totally understand. I bought and sold/retuned 7 different bags and spent a ton of time watching/reading reviews looking for “the perfect bag” too.

The main reason I preferred the FlexTech Lite vs the FlexTech was that I found there was less club tangle because of the extra divider they put in the bottom section where I put my wedges. The Lite is obviously lighter as well.

The advantages that the FlexTech has vs FlexTech Lite is the cart strap pass through, the waterproof valuables pocket, and it also has a bigger base so it stands up vertically better.

Both really nice bags, it’s just a question of personal preference and which works better for you.

To summarize in the most direct way possible, I think the FlexTech Lite is better for carrying/walking, and the FlexTech is probably better as a Hybrid cart bag.

I just found the club tangle and the extra weight from the FlexTech noticeable vs the Lite version.

Really appreciate it.  I think I’ll go standard flex tech or maybe even the crossover - I kinda want the navy color way.

My pleasure, happy to help!

Yeah, I didn’t really look at the Crossover because I wasn’t looking for a bag with 14 dividers. The FlexTech could be a really good one for what you’re looking for though...good luck!

Update on the 2021 FlexTech Lite, for anyone considering this bag. I really like it, but here are the issues popping up after having it for a few extra days that are going to make me return it:

1) The first FlexTech Lite I had with the light grey/whitish legs had scratches on the legs. Over time, I think the light color will show more wear & tear than dark/black legs (I had the Black/Light Grey version).

2) More club tangle than I was expecting. Can be a struggle to take clubs in & out, and when the bag legs are extended, the clubs in the middle of the bag will protrude more than clubs on either side. My clubs have Midsize grips, and are extended by 1", so those could also be factors.

3) Noticeable droop on the legs depending on what angle you pick up the bag. The legs don't have the same retracting strength as the OGIO Fuse 4, SM 2.5+, or SM 3.5LS and 1 leg or the other can tend to hang down.

Got a Flextech Crossover in Navy.

Really handsome bag.  Hoping to play this weekend but first impressions:

Colorway is great - I didn't really like any of the multi-color bags I'd seen and after seeing some all-black bags in person I decided I didn't want that either. Royal Blue didn't feel right and I really like this navy they've got.

Everything seems quality.  Grab handles feel really solid, zippers all very smooth, fabric is nice.  I'm not some golf bag quality expert or anything though.

The straps are a bit different than my old bag but they work - I sort of have to put on both straps at once instead of putting one on then the other.  The bag is walkable for 9 for sure - but if you're walking 18 all the time this is, obviously, not the bag for you.  I think I will mostly utilize this on a cart or a pushcart and I think that's exactly what it is for.  I can take it to the range and walk 9 if I feel like it for sure though so I think it's the right bag for me and how I play.

The 14 way top seems decent.  The only spaces that seem somewhat problematic are the two middle spaces in the bottom middle row but it's totally workable so far just from taking them in and out in my garage.  Obviously I'll have a better sense when I get on the course.

My only "complaint" so far is that the stand legs end in little rubber nubs - my old sun mountain had wider rubber feet attached.  I can see the rubber nubs just sinking into the grass and/or catching before they're fully extended and causing problems.  Maybe I'll take the feet off the sun mountain and put them on this bag.

I'll take some pics soon.

Do stores take back golf bags after trying it out for a while? 🙂 @ballernate, when you return, is it after using for a while?

For my local store, you have 30 days to return as long as you have the receipt and it’s still in new condition.

I didn’t have any problems doing my returns.
