Sounds like this is the exactly what i described after reading about it.

Anyone try both the low bounce k and the t grind? I think I have it narrowed down to those 2 at this point.

I had the T for a while. I live in Boston. Grounds a little soft it really dug on me. If I lived in AZ TX Etc would be amazing

never tried low bounce K

No experience with the T grind but have been using a Low Bounce K for years. It's not ideal for opening up the face off a tight lie, but pretty great at everything else.

I just ordered a low bounce K as I wanted to try as well.  Should be good in soft Texas bunkers but firm conditions.  My understanding is the K is great for an environment with soft sand but firm soil.  T is like an L but on steriods.  Seems like lots of guys have both T and LBK, and rotate depending on venue

Edited original topic after finding the low bounce K option. What would you guys recommend..low bounce K or T grind?

typically play a fairly firm course but also travel a bit .

The T is great grind and versatile if you are very precise, but the K is more forgiving. I’ve always said the perfect wedge for most players would be wide sole, low bounce, mid camber, and have lots of heel relief.

As a 2-3 handicap I feel like I strike it decently and would enjoy the versatility but the deep down in me knows if a miss a couple Im gonna be pissed I didn’t have that wide sole k to save me. Decisions decisions.

The thing that makes the T grind interesting is that it really is 3 sole grinds in one. The leading is edge is killed, the trailing edge and heel are ground down very low, and all the bounce is in the middle of the sole. That is what makes it so versitile, but you have to be precise where and when you use the bounce.  It does'nt get discussed enough, but sole width is almost as important as bounce angle. The wider the sole the more forgiving, the more narrow the sole the less forgiving. That is why the low bounce K is almost perfect in my opinion. You get the advantages of a low bounce wedge but with more forgiveness.

Because of the narrow forward bounce surface on the T, opening the K adds a lot more bounce than opening the T.  So if you want to lay the club open and keep the leading edge down on firm ground, the T is the club.  But if you want a low leading edge when square, but a decent amount of bounce when opened, like from soft sand, the K is the club.  The T sucks from soft sand, so if you play from those conditions, you better have another actual sand wedge.
