Bobby Grace custom Shiloh widebody

Just acquired this putter. I have rolled it on my birdie ball mat and love it...would anyone have any idea on specs? Seems heavy, which I like. Thanks in advance.

I assume it has the sort of triangular sole weights? Grace blades usually can come with light/regular/heavy weight configurations, but to me even the regular weights feel heavy (at least 350-355). Fortunately if you pull the weights to weigh them and find they aren’t to your liking he sells weight kits through his site.

Grace putters roll the ball so tightly and quickly with his insert. They are so awesome for indoor putting and putting on pristine, speedy greens. My only guff is that when I play greens that are a little furry and slower (e.g., most public courses in Pittsburgh), it’s really easy to leave long and/or uphill putts short. Other than that, I’ve yet to roll a putter that makes the ball stick to the ground quicker.

Actually no weights.....I will add a picture to show you. Thanks for the response....I love this thing, just looking for more detail.

Agreed....I have emailed Bobby Grace twice, but no answer. It rolls the ball soooooooo well. I will keep searching for info!!! lol.

Regardless, great find. I had a short slant 18 blade custom a few years ago that I curse having sold. Agree with Jon—they roll the ball so well.

Nice putter. I’m considering getting my first Bobby Grace. I like the science behind the insert and I’m seeing some consistent comments in this thread about how well it gets the ball rolling.

 

Could you share more about the insert and roll? I’m definitely on the fence about getting one and just need that extra push, lol.

I have a birdie ball putting green in my basement....honestly, it rolls fantastic. I have made more putts downstairs with this than I have with any of my other putters. Rolls instantly....I have not used it outdoors yet. I have heard reviews about fast greens vs slow (fast seem to be better with the insert is what the theme is....). I have a custom to me Byron (epic day) and a couple Scotty's I go back and forth on, plus a mint Yes! Tracy that rolls it kind of like the Grace due to the grooves. The Grace feels really nice though.
