Great spot, I searched Getty and the RAD was definitely in there on Friday, and this is definitely not the RAD. Agree it looks like the LTD Pro. Same image found on Getty.

I believe I also saw Bryson playing a Speedzone one day this week. To be fair, and I really don’t feel this way about many products on the tour, his driver heads are so exceedingly customized, I can imagine how similar they are to the consumer product. When you reinforce the face as much as they need to, that’s a massive difference.

I noticed that post from him as well thinking that doesn't look like a current driver.  That thing must be a low spin monster.  I've got the 3 wood and its basically unplayable for my swing speed, lol.

He also said something about "this driver is so sensitive" back at the Genesis referring to the RAD.

Golf Digest reported a shaft change, but not a club head change.  Switched to an "Axis" LA shaft.

It’s a TOUR AXS blu 70x tipped out from what I’ve heard. I know a guy that plays one - he says they’re money 😏

Bryson definitely had the LTD in today at the API. Still was getting crazy spin numbers according to the PGA TOUR 3D Tour Cast. Was 4000-5000rpm frequently and carrying it less the 300. Rory was hitting it further with 5-10mph less ball speed. Pretty crazy. Hopefully he figures out the driver. I've been battling the driver spin as well so I'll be intrigued to see what he changes.

If accurate then that makes sense, he has had so many drives measured at 190+ ball speed to only carry the same or even shorter distances than guys far slower. At his speed I would imagine it has to be strike related (low in the head), an easy thing to struggle with when trying to hit extremely up on the ball. That also explains why he favors the LTD, super low CG.

In his interview after the round he said he is back to playing a heavier head with more spin as he works on some things in his swing.   "Crazy things are happening at high speeds"

Hopefully this inspires LTD 2. Makes no sense that they never continued the line.

This!! Imagine this head paired with either a ventus blue or black. The LTD was truly about 4 years ahead of it time.

I think the shaft he’s got in it offers QUITE a bit of stability lol

I heard the switch back to the LTD was spin related so he can tighten the dispersion on misses at Bay Hill, not sure how accurate that is though

Oddly enough I was hitting my LTD Pro / Ventus Blue combo in my buddy's simulator today.

 

Second time hitting balls since November for me (thanks Covid) and I was hitting it mid-season distance for an old guy like me.

That's the LTD Black version. The non-Black LTD were glossy.

 

My first LTD was the black version and it was a really cool looking club. Unfortunately I got it in the wrong loft because that was the season I switched from a draw to a fade.
