KBS C-Taper

Idk what it is about C-Taper shafts, it does no not fit my profile at all. However, I have an vr pro blade 8 iron with an R+ ctaper in it.  I took it to the course to hit around with my staff model blade with Modus 105 S.  I like everything  better about the ctaper club.  I hit it higher and further than the gamer club.  On good strikes the ctaper clubs feel better than anything else I've ever hit.  If I get scoopy or thin it doesn't feel so good though.  I would never be fit into this profile as I'm not a real high spin player.  But man, I'm thinking about bucking traditional wisdom and fixing me up a set of them.  Anybody else do this?

Shaft profiles are a general rule of thumb but there are certainly exceptions to the rule. Every shaft feels and plays different, some shafts might allow you to feel things others don't and help you release it at the proper time, etc.

I have a CTaper in a P790 4 iron I found for $70.  It’s too long for me and should be too stiff, but I choke down on it and hit it better than any long iron or hybrid I have hit recently.
