Flatter lie angle (Ping, Titleist) fairway woods

Looking for feedback on the effect of flatter lie fairway woods (Ping, Titleist).

I like to hit a cut with all clubs. My bad shot is a pull/pull-draw.

I'm not trying to correct a hook, which is often what flatter lie angles seem to be associated with in woods. What I'm trying to achieve is to nudge my start line slightly further right.

For those who have experimented with this, have you found a flatter lie in fairways affects start line?

I play all my woods in the C1 setting, flat and lower loft, and it has helped with starting it more right. I much prefer a cut to a draw, and hate seeing the left miss.

That is why I went with the Mizuno ST-Z 3 wood. From what I could tell it has the flattest lie angle of any newer fairway wood offered.

Bonus that it doesn't look closed at address and is just an overall great looking club.

Sim TI is extremely fade biased. I cannot hook it and i can hook just about anything.

I've been playing Titleist woods/hybrids for years.  Play everything at B1 or C1 to give me the flat setting.

My miss is an overdraw which can turn into a hook.  Don't know if my starting line is further right than before.  But it is easier for me to hit a fade, my miss left is less severe, and I am able to swing more confidently off the tee (and especially when going for par-5s in 2 with my hybrid)

Flatter lie angles on fwy woods and hybrids have been a game changer for me. My first experience was with a Ping TiSi 3wd (Best club I have ever had, and like an idiot I sold it) that had a custom RFO hosel. It was 2 deg flat and two degrees open. Literally never missed the center of the face with that club and NEVER missed it left which has always been my miss. Well, until the Ping g410 came along I always fought a left miss. Being able to flatten the lie not only improves my shot pattern, but i hit it muich more in the center of the face. If you don't want to hit it left I HIGHLY recommend playing flatter hybrids, woods, and driver.

I’m curious on this as well. I have an old TM RBZ Stage 2 Tour 5 wood that I’m hesitant to upgrade. I hit it well and it allows me to easily play a fade. I have a tendency to fish for snappers with other clubs.

Iron History: Macgregor blades -> Tour Model 3 -> 20 year hiatus -> Callaway Rogue (ugh) -> PtxPro -> P790 -> MP4 -> MP32 -> 623CB -> ZX5 mkII -> Cobra Tours

+1 for the Sim Ti. Best 3 wood I’ve ever had. No hooks or big high pulls. I have a Sim Max 5 wood that I’m getting rid of because of the lie angle. It just wants to go left all the time. Replacing it with Sim2 Ti.

Just purchased Callaway Sub zero 3 wood and driver for this reason! Can't wait! Flattest lie angle of any club ~ 56 degrees!
