Anything open in Iowa this weekend?

Hey Iowa and surrounding area golfers....

 

I’m in Minneapolis and willing to drive to play. Going to be high 50’s Sunday and Monday. Don’t worry, I’m not looking for a hookup to play, unless you want to, just looking to see how far south I’ll have to drive to play this weekend. 
 

Let me know if anything is open that you know of in Iowa, Quad cities, KC, etc. The further north the better.

I used to teach at Iowa State, the University course in Ames was open everyday the high was over 45. It gets crazy busy on the freak warm spring days. I would call first.

I love that course. It drains pretty well for early season golf.

My son’s spring break plans fell through so we are looking to drive somewhere to play. Iowa, Northern Missouri, anywhere within 6 hours really.

Blank, Jester Park, and Beaver Creek are open year round, permitted the temp is above a high of 40*.

In addition Waveland opened a week ago.

Most courses are opening the week of Spring Break. You'll have options.

Anything open in Iowa? The further north the better. 
 

How about northern Missouri/KC area?

 

I’d be driving down sometime after the 11th, so I’d like to make some tee times. Last year we were able to play Veenker in Ames and had a lot of fun. Further north than that would be even better. 
 

NOTHING is going to be open in MN until at least April because we have so much snow.

The weather forecasters where I live, just North of Dubuque, are saying 5-9" snow for Thurs-Friday with another front moving through early next week.
