Me too ! I've been playing a Cleveland RTX 64* , like it very much, and believe Cleveland should have retained the 64* for their current wedge line.

For me the 64* wedge makes playing 40 to 70 yard approach shots much easier than with a lower lofted wedge.

I've found 64* much easier to use than 58* or 60*. Specifically, it's clear and obvious when to play a 64* wedge shot whereas with the lower lofted L wedges there is some indecision, uncertainty, and adjustment needed for distance control.

A fuller (3/4 length) 64* shot carries for me 65 to 70 yards. A shorter (half length) swing carries 45 to 50 yards. Both shots are played with the 64* face square at address and this produces a high trajectory shot that stops where it lands.

My bag includes 48*, 52* 56*and 64* RTX4 wedges.

Yeah thats nutso.. You sure it was not Australian money? I have no idea what the exchange rate is but that could be the difference. Or they were jacking the price to sell some at a premium early. I dunno..

AUS article says $219.95 RRP. That comes out to around $170 USD based off today's exchange rate.

It looks like they come in 2 degree increments from 50 to 64, 9 degrees bounce, C grind, TTDG Spinner shafts, D4 or D5 swingweight, but lefties only get 54, 56, 58, and 60 degrees.

 

I can't wait to try these out. I ordered a new Callaway 52 degree wedge last week on the basis of expecting the new PM Grind wedges to be released soon but from what I've seen, I'm not sold on the look. These things look fantastic and will pair well with a regular 52. The original PM Grinds are my favourite wedges ever, so these have a fair bit to do to knock those out of the bag - but I'm looking forward to putting them head-to-head.

Huh. I missed that - interesting that it's the only one they skip. I'd go 60 and make it weak, but it depends what you're looking for regarding offset and bounce and so on.

You like more or less bounce? Looks like they all have 9* of bounce. With the turf I deal with, and the shots I would hit with a 62, I'd bend a 60* weak and add some bounce. But thats just me. If you like less bounce, the 64* bent strong might be better?

Hey, at least it's on the back of the club here in Australia. I don't know why the Kiwi version has it on the face...??!

I wandered into a DSG for the first time in over a year today, lo and behold ZFF are on the rack.  They did not have a 64° or I would have walked out with $159 less in my wallet.

 

Sorry I didn’t think to take pics. The head is pretty compact, I think, compared to Hi Toe or PM grind. As has been said, basically a Zipcore wedge with grooves across the whole face. Any other differences are too subtle for me to notice.

Yes they have raw and I saw all of them a few days ago. They nailed it. These are a great looking wedge and the best full face I’ve seen. Great sole grind as well.

NOOOOOO!!!! I was all excited to save some money because I didnt think they sold them in raw. Guess I'm getting new wedges... again... in the last 3 months.

I stopped by my local DSG today during lunch and they had a couple racks full of them. Grabbed the LH 60*, scanned it at the checkout and red flags popped up! They're not allowed/able to be sold. After 10-15 minutes of digging around in the computers they found the release date to be June 11. The golf section "manager" said "we got them in, so I figured they should be on the floor to sell and we got no information on release".
